The Tonverk Is Ready For The Main Stage (Patreon)
Content
Yes, the Tonverk received some serious QOL improvements as well as a remarkable granular engine. It's quite fun.
We open with the new Granular engine called Grainer.
Trig Preview 17:29 You can now hold a trigger to instantly audition the programmed step, which the presenter calls the biggest usability improvement, especially for programming long, multi-bar sequences.
Shape Source Machine on Bus Tracks 10:37 This new machine on the effects bus tracks features a shelving filter and, critically, allows you to place sequencer triggers to create a manual ducking envelope (gating or side-chain effect) 12:03
Side Chain Source for Compressor 22:38 The compressor on the bus tracks now has a dedicated parameter to select any track as a side chain source, enabling classic pump/duck effects based on a kick drum or other rhythmic source.
Undo/Redo Functionality 15:06 A major quality of life feature that alerts you to mistakes and allows you to undo and redo actions like deleting a sequence.
Post Effects Pan Parameter 29:43 Added to the effects setup menu, this allows you to pan the wet signal of the send effects (like delay and reverb) post-processing, opening up possibilities for creative midside-style stereo processing.
Improved Sample Browser 33:18 The browser now functions more like the Digitakt's, with an improved look and feel that makes it easier to load and manage multiple samples.
Support for New Sample Formats 29:00 The device can now load samples in M4A, CAF, and FLAC file formats.
Memory Usage Screen 31:46 A new screen was added to display the current memory usage, which is useful given the large size of multi-samples.
Rename Multi-Sampled Instruments 35:30 You now have the possibility to rename your multi-sampled instruments.
Send Effects Tracks Updates 14:36 The send effects tracks now have a shelving filter on the filter page and an amp envelope on the AMP page.
Best,
Matt
