This is a legitimately fun module for generating melodies that are usable, controllable to an extent, and can easily be adjusted live. This is exactly the type of sequencer I like to have in a modular system. Pseudos is a random pitch calculator—basically, it's a Turing machine with a step sequencer and a scale quantizer all rolled into one. Often, you build something like this with multiple modules, but this is much more affordable and more fun than going through that process in my opinion (imo).

The Incredible Power Of A Melody Generator

What happens when you combine music theory, a Turing Machine, and a quantizer? You get Pseudos, a powerful melody generator for your modular system. In today's episode, we combine our eurorack system powered by our melody generator and a eurorack-format polysynth, and sample that into our favorite Elektron gear. Using the Digitakt II, Digitone II, and the Octatrack MK2, we make the most of our new super powers.
