ORCA No Islands Contest - Win a Livecoding hat! (Patreon)
Content
Ok so the contest goes like this: You are to design a patch in ORCA where at least one of your modules in an island connects to another island of modules - creating only one island a Pangea so to speak. This includes variables - NO islands at all. The idea is to try and reuse as many modules as possible. Think of it like a game of Dominos, all the pieces are connected by at least one other piece. More "points" will be awarded to folks who connect islands via multiple modules. The participant with the most connections to their "islands" (Pangea) along with a cohesive music structure wins. Not best music wins, the most clever design wins. No rules regarding what instruments you choose.
Winner of the contest (which will be decided by me and my partner at Modbang) receives a Livecoding hat (black or white) from Modbang which will be mailed to you for free.
After all videos are submitted I will be creating a video that includes the top 20 entries. The the winner will be featured first (this is to insure that the winner is most likely to be seen by viewers). Credit will be given to all participants along with their socials (i.e. Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Instagram) during their patch.
