I wrote this song with the intention of singing along to it, likely adding guitar too. However, this was written at my turning point in electronic music, I went from trying to build a robo band to fully immersing myself into the machines. So the music didn't go anywhere, I moved on - BUT it has returned for your tiny little ears to feast on.

The music was very inspired by Cenk (aka Dataline) and I wish he would come hang out in our discord! Somehow we must make that happen..

This was the first video I produced with my new studio arrangement. Boom mic was above my head. One of the cams (the one behind me) was not such a great shot but I didn't realize it until I had already filmed it.

Let me know what ya think!

Elektron Digitone and Octatrack Performance

In this video Matthew Piecora (aka EZBOT) tells us why he chooses the Digitone for writing music followed by a performance paired with the Octatrack MK2. From Elektron: "Digitone represents our vision of how FM synthesis can be revitalized and modernized. Here’s how: combine FM sound generation with a classic subtractive synthesis signal flow. From jagged chaos to mellow soundscapes in less than a second. Digitone is one unique box. Choose from multiple FM algorithms featuring carefully selected parameters. Shape the tones with powerful filters. Arrange them with the intuitive Elektron sequencer. Round off with the stellar effects. Now enjoy the most spectacular sounds, seemingly emanating from some parallel universe."
