How to use the OT as Performance Mixer. (Patreon)

I have been meaning to make this video for a while. Before today all I could say was "build it from scratch" and "maybe we can do lessons?" - well no longer! Today you can watch this video and glean enough of the technique used to get started using your Octatrack as a performance mixer right away!  

In the video I am using an updated version of the template but I am not done working on it so you'll have to wait a little longer.

Instructions for those who are struggling to get it installed:

Go to settings -> System -> USB Disk mode -> plug in the USB -> open your set (typically called PRESTTS MKII if you have a MKII) -> Drop the UNZIPPED project file in with the other projects on your OT! :)

I've attached a copy of the file REMIXER/PERFORMANCE MIXER TEMPLATE to this post.

External Remixer 1.0.5.1 Is the current working version of the performance template. 

1.0.5.2 Is the beginning process of me changing a few FX, and working on new versions of the template. Everything should work as expected in both versions of the template.

Is it possible to cue listen to something being prepared on one of the machines while its sample loop scene is playing live?

Also... these effects sound awesome. As a lifelong DJ only a year into live performing, I feel like you just handed me a RMX1000 for the first time. The Elektron version. :)

Absolutely, just hold CUE and select what source you would like to listen to. If it’s the external gear select the A/B C/D inputs

I tried that as I normally would, but headphone is silent when the record buffer scene is playing. Is there a setting I need to adjust. I have the Cue/Master set up, and the cue level set

Seriously loving this setup. I don't see myself using the AB and CD individual buffers so much for my style, so I may just make those flex tracks for some longer atmosphere or vocal samples or maybe some stems from my production tracks. You have me rethinking everything. now. Thanks so much for the inspiration.

Hello EZBOT and community! This Octatack template is awesome as hell!!!!! This has opened a huge hole how to play improv live for me. I still have a lot of work to do to put a live set together but this is a great starting point. Thank you EZBOT!!! I am running the Octatack MK2 and Digitakt with a Blackhole eventide pedal and using the novation Lunch Control XL to manipulate the pitch, reverb and delay on the Digitakt. I have a Analog 4 mk2 but I use it for just sound design. Still looking for that Synth to add to play live with the Octatrack and Digitakt! I am looking Digitone or Vermona Perfourmer?

For "this video version" it's best to use 1.0.5.zip?
