It's finally here.

64 FX scenes across 4 parts: Remixer, Explorer, Garage, and Techno.

How to install:

Plug in the USB to your Octatrack -> Go to settings -> System -> USB Disk mode ->

Octatrack will mount as a disk on your computer. Open your Octatrack drive on your computer and find your set folder (typically called PRESETS MKII if you have a MKII).

Open your set -> Drop the UNZIPPED project folder called Performance Mixer x.x.x in with your other project folders on your Octatrack.

Press NO on your Octatrack to leave disk mode.

Open the project file called PERF TEMP x.x.x on your Octatrack.

*I am using the OT as master clock and transport, this help the OT FX perform much better*

- You will find an alternate version of the low pass and high pass filter on every part as well as a master looper on every part so that you don't have to change parts to use common FX.

*Clicks and pops can be caused by unstable BPM from external clocking sources. This causes the delay buffers to make minor adjustments which result in clicks. To avoid this use a stable clocking source or change the delays on FREEZE effects to tape delays.

*Yes, the Octatrack can be the master clock if you like but it means you will have to adjust the tempo of your patterns via the Octatrack instead of it automatically updating via external gear. I prefer to use the Octatrack as my master clock.

- Fixed a pattern change issue on both the classic performance template and the 2 free flex project.

- Adjusted the names of the projects.

(a way you can fix this yourself is to copy and paste pattern 1 from any bank onto another pattern or press FUNC + PAT and adjust the change parameter to PLEN from 8/16)

- Updated the 2 FREE FLEX template to 2.3.4 (this is a major upgrade form the old version of 2 Free Flex with a ton of bugs squashed, you will want to use this one)

- Cleaned some FX

- Squished some bugs (unlocked parameters that were not meant to be locked)

(Please note that I can not get rid of the delay trail when switching to Part 4 aka Techno. This is an Octatrack bug related to switching from a freeze delay to a standard delay on a master track)

- Added full integration with the SHIK MIDI controller. Please follow the included instructions

- Added PDF layouts for all the insert effects CC messages for programming external MIDI controllers. PDF's are located in the SHIK folder

- Template Project is now called PERF TEMP 2.3 by EZBOT

- Rhythmic Stutter 1 and 2 on Part EXPLORER now only effect inputs C/D. Changed name to Rave Stutter

- All Insert Effects are now in "sweet spots" that can be recalled after adjustment by using FUNC + CUE to reload the part

- Fixed a bug that prevented several scenes from functioning correctly on PART Garage. To fix the bug yourself go to the secondary SRC menu on TRK 7 in PART Garage (on whatever bank you are working on) and change the LEN parameter to OFF.

- All banks and patterns are now populated with the template at a default tempo of 120 bpm.

- Fixed an error when saving to a new project (aka duplicating the template).

- Added another project file located in the Octatrack Performance Template ZIP file: 2_Free_Flex_Tracks. This project file is a duplicate of the current template with 2 free flex tracks on all 4 Parts for sampling/sample playback. Scenes 14/15 are empty so you can make your own scenes with your free flex tracks.

- Removed Part (3) Garage: Scene 5 - Filter Drown, added Dirty 1/2 Note Looper (ALL)

- Minor FX Adjustments.

- Added EXPERT MODE on Bank B, Pattern 1. Scenes 14/15 in EXPERT MODE are for live remixing. You can activate the recorders by pressing YES or by pressing Track 1 + YES for the looper on Track 5, Track 3 + YES for the looper on Track 6, and Track 8 + YES for the master looper on Track 7. Place trigs on the sequencer on track 5 or 6 and use the audio editor to make slices and manipulations live. Use Scene 14 for remix version 1 and Scene 15 for remix version 2. Have fun! - Fixed switching from Parts to Part 4 (Techno) or Part 2 (Explorer) was causing the delay to activate for a moment. The delay on Part 4 (Techno) Track 8 now has the volume at 0 by default. If you want to use the master delay manually you will have to turn up the send as well as the volume. *Press down on the encoder to make wide adjustments. Delay on Part 2 (Explorer) Track 1 also has the volume set to 0 by default.

- Improved some FX.
