As a music lover and producer, I have to say that I am completely in love with this machine. It's so much fun and easy to use, and I find myself constantly wanting to dig deeper and edit my tracks even further in Bitwig or Ableton. It's truly an inspiration machine.

While it may not be the best for sound design or creating melodies (despite having a scale feature for quantizing notes), it really shines as a drum machine. You can load up your entire sample library into the sample player and have access to more samples than you could ever possibly use. And with a micro SD card, you have plenty of storage space - I'm using a 128 gig card and have already loaded it up with tons of samples.

In this video, I go over almost everything the machine has to offer (excluding a few options that I was testing out with a beta firmware). Be sure to check it out - it's packed full of information.

Polyend Play Is An Absolute Inspiration Machine

In this stream Matthew from Patchwerks explores the Polyend Play with Teenage Engineering OP-1 Field and TX-6 mixer/interface. Get the Polyend Play here: https://bit.ly/3znZUKy Get yourself the OP-1 Field here: https://bit.ly/op-1_field Get yourself the TX-6 here: https://bit.ly/3w6kHjW Polyend Play is possibly the most flexible and inspirational groovebox ever created. Loaded with over 3000 samples and 8 tracks of audio sequencing, you can create beats straight out of the box and truly make them your own with a wide variety of playback tools and effects. Pick and place your sounds anywhere on the grid for a truly sandbox approach to beat-making. Switch into Perform mode for even more ways to create new grooves, and if that’s not enough, take advantage of Play’s powerful sequencer to control your outboard gear with a further 8 polyphonic MIDI tracks. https://patchwerks.com/ Video by: Matthew Piecora (aka EZBOT), Steven Ly (Project 32)
