I am currently evaluating the Drumlogue and I prefer not to say much until I have a clearer understanding of the product. So far, I would classify it as "not bad." It does have some impressive features, such as individual outs, a master EQ/comp/DJ filter, synthesis, and stereo sample playback. However, the Korg workflow, which is not my favorite, is also present. The drum sounds are decent, but they do not stand out to me. The sample playback and FX sound good, but I question if that is enough. The one thing that I must commend the Drumlogue on is its fantastic distortion, making it perfect for industrial and heavier tracks. I am still on the fence about the Drumlogue, and I encourage you to watch the stream and make your own judgment.

Thanks for reading,

Matthew

"Checking out the Korg Dumlogue..." well, finally a drum machine for real drummers... 😬

I have to agree re: Korg workflow. It’s cumbersome and unintuitive-especially on the dinky screens. I got the OPSiX last year and although it’s super powerful the menu workflow is really time consuming and unattractive. I also find that the build quality can be unpleasant. Not saying the ideas and sounds are poor. But it’s not presented in the best form.

haha, what do you mean exactly?

Time consuming workflow for sure but it has it's advantages in some situations, just not many for electronic music

mmm, well... my drummers have never been rocket scientist material... so a 'dumlogue' ('dum(b)logue') would be ideal the perfect name for a replacement drummer... sorry, but my drummer is out of town and I can't do lousy puns at his expense since he can't even figure out how to use a smart phone... maybe he needs a 'dum-o-phone'... Ok, have to point out that he's a great drummer though...
