Elektron Talk Ep.28: NAMM, live performances, and new music! (Patreon)

Quick summary of NAMM:
The Polyend Tracker Mini was, without a doubt, the most exciting groovebox and music production release at NAMM. It boasts stereo sampling, battery power, a built-in microphone, and a much faster CPU. We need more hardware trackers, so this is great news.
In my opinion, the NINA synth was the best synth at NAMM. It features a 12-voice analog polysynth with FX that is also a 4-part multimbral, and, of course, the pots are motorized. This is not a gimmick; it's actually valuable and works flawlessly with their own patented tech.
Endorphines Pedals: The Golden Master is legit and will be useful as a master effect. Ghost is Ghost; if you like the FX it offers, then you will like it in a standalone box. I think guitar players will be very confused by it and probably get frustrated by its difficulty, unless they are also Eurorack users.
The Verbos Real World Interface was a wild module and will be a lot of fun for those who don't mind forking over the cash for Verbos modules. It can do pseudo vocoding and some Rossum Panharmonium type effects (without it sounding as pretty as the Panharmonium) and classic envelope following techniques.
4MS had a secret module on display and wouldn't let me photograph it, but it's basically VCV Rack in a module. When you see it, you're going to say, "Hey, that's VCV Rack in a module." Keep a lookout for it because it's going to be popular for sure.
Elektron Overbridge integration with AAX - I literally don't care at all. Somebody out there does, though.
The Modbap Meridian sounds great and offers some excellent features. It is a multi-filter stereo filter for Eurorack, offering you all the filter options you could possibly want. I believe it's digital.
The Soma Terra sounds amazing and looks gorgeous. It is a very strange instrument, and I can't wait to play on one again.
Ok, now go watch the stream :p
