1. https://youtu.be/DYjHcJV-Rd4 2. Depends on the brand, pattern change sends bank A pat 1-16 by default as its program change. 3. That would afford you the most time but it isn't a necessity. 4. They can work without additional tracks but it's useful to have more FX working together to make those FX come to life. 5. This one is too long to explain but I just prefer AMP. 6. Not sure what you mean. 7. 32 is half speed.
