With the Remixer 1.2.1 Project completed, I am currently trying to decide where to focus my efforts and am looking to my patrons for guidance. 

Both the Octacosm and Solo Performance Template V2 are ambitious projects. The Octacosm will take a lot of time to develop the most ideal workflow for generating stems and processing external gear. It's a fun project but a real brain squeezer. Solo Performance Template V2 is a 5-track, 64-FX, 8-bar looper project where you route the CUE outs back into the Octatrack to access the 5 FX blocks. This isn't something I can copy and paste; I will have to build the FX from scratch, which takes a lot of time.

The last choice is for me to pause OT project development and get back to making tutorial videos for our favorite gear. I haven't made a fully featured video since the last Digitakt Generate Random Melodies video. I am happy to go any direction.

 Which project would you like me to focus on?

EDIT: Wow! The response to this post has been incredibly enlightening for me. I'll start working on new videos. I also didn't realize how many Patreon supporters here are interested in more than just the Octatrack templates. That's a fantastic feeling—thank you! I have a huge backlog of video projects, some of which I've completed but never released. I have really in-depth content for the Digitakt and lots of great ideas to share about the Octatrack and M8. Your support is incredibly appreciated, I am happy to oblige your requests.

2026-09-19 02:00 Would love to get more knowledge on how to use the Octatrack as a performance sampler and not just a mixer so I would really like the solo template to have more focus and more videos on how to sample and loop etc 😄

that OT solo template is great! We can also use it like DJ style performance machine template as well !!!!!

Take a break from these templates. Otherwise the community will only push you for that. You need rest. Tutorials are hard work but not brain squeezers

You’ve worked so much on the templates, the Remixer is rad, and the Solo one sounds great - but I’m excited about the Octacosm. It’s a paradigm shift for me in the way I can use the Octatrack, so that’s what my vote is on. I think you’ve also gotta focus on what you enjoy doing, and put in that self care! 🙏🏻🧡

Yes, I have to agree with Bernhard on the ‘situation’. There is still a lot of learning needed before I’d feel comfortable using the OT live. A Solo V2 template might be like an expansion of your Hybrid template, like in between the Hybrid and the Ultimate 2FF, or maybe like both together? I’ve got my guitar/guitar synths going into the OT C/D and drum and ‘ambient’ stuff into A/B (also taking the Cue output just for the helluvit)… so definitely a thumbs up for something like ‘deep-dive’ shortish vids on how to handle specific situations or conditions, not tictoc-short, but nice and focused like your incredible quantized loops from a few years back…

Take a break and do more videos, guides for new templates, or anything you like man. Octacosm is a cool idea, but far from the polish I know you'd like. When the inspiration hits you, then continue. All the best

I enjoy your live streams the most. If you are feeling the grind with coding these OT templates, maybe take a break and do other videos. You could do a nerdy studio tour maybe? (The nerdier the better 🤓)

I really enjoy and value your tutorials, and would love to see more! As someone earlier said, would love to hear your thoughts on things like sound design and composition. I've also enjoyed the couple few times you've had guests. I find the dialogue really expands the perspective and insight on any given topic when you do.

All great ideas Matt, I would personally love to hear about your process with organization of live sets and handling multiple projects, how you think about assembling a full show with your pattern and bank managment going in, how you organize presets you create from scratch etc. A bit more nuts and bolts about assembling and thinking about a show in that way. Just an idea, as all your project templates are literally brilliant on the Octatrack, I am assuming your other systems are as well! Cheers.

I know they might not be as conducive to in-depth template style workflows, but I'd be interested if you have unique insight on Analog 4 and Rytm.

As much as I love your longer video streams, I would love for a series of much shorter 'Quick Tip' videos for all the golden nuggets of information stored in your brain :) I really wanted to show a friend/colleague what the Octatrack is capable of the other night. Your videos instantly sprung to mind but I couldn't think of a good one that succinctly showed off the best bits of each of your templates.
