Oh yeah! Love some body type variations!

EmilioDekure

Thanks! I wanna continue drawing this body type. It's definitely taking me a bit to adjust to the proportions and stuff, but ay. Day 1, feel me? 😅😂

It's all ogre now 😈

i would love to understand what your shorthand means with the line and dot thats on every image

EmilioDekure

Allow me to dispel that for you. Originally that was always meant to describe motion, or the line of action. In some of my drawings you'll spot that line and dot sorta wrapping around the figure to describe a spinning motion or something like that. 😅 The dot specifically comes from my animation days back in middle school when I'd draw the effects of attacks and stuff. Like if a stick figure was punched, there'd be the initial effect of the punch then that same special effect would linger and dissipate into dots as the lines break up. Just a habit/quirk of mine from yeeeaaaars ago. You can actually see what I mean in my most recent animation gif! Look at the effects of the motion! You'll see the lines break up into dots that just float away. Nowadays though, I'm gonna be perfectly honest, I just draw it in there just because the image feels weird without it. 😂 It's become a signature of sorts. I'll always look for the description of motion first, but if it's not immediately apparent, aaahhh just toss it in there anyway. 😂
