Ziva, Goddess of Life. The first of the Divine 8 to emerge from the cosmos, and the first to bear consciousness. It is believed that one's soul is actually a piece of Ziva's own. Many in the Universe can even seem to recall their earliest memories being of her face, but never knowing who this person was. The fledgling Goddess came into being as a young child even after existing in the ethos for thousands of years, and spent her early years as an adopted daughter in a family of 10. Quickly she began to realize how different she truly was from the rest of those in the Universe. By just looking into your eyes, Ziva can see your memories, feel your inner most feelings, and even your desires. She takes the saying "the eyes are a window into your soul" quite literally in fact. The more the Universe grew in its infancy, the more life there was being born, and with every knew spirit that came into being, Ziva grew stronger. Her siblings often encouraged her to be a cool superhero, acting out scenarios, making costumes, being silly. One day she shared her power with her younger brother, Len, making him the very first disciple. However, Len lived a hard, and downtrodden life. A troubled young man, he used his new found power to assert his dominance over others, and eventually used it for murder. Ziva had no choice but to take his life. Ashamed of her actions Ziva fled from her family, unable to look her siblings in their faces. She wanted to know what it meant to live life as the rest of the Universe, as Len did, without the use of her power in hopes that experiencing everything life has to offer will deepen her understanding of what it means to live life a normal being. And so, she spent the next 70 years of her life as a nomad of sorts. Traveling the Universe, seeing life as it existed across the stars. She worked odd jobs, partied with locals, mourned her losses, felt love. "What a wonderful thing, to live." Finally, after her travels, Ziva returned home to find only one of her family left, Ilia, her elder sister, and her grandchildren. Terrified of what she'd think of her after what happened many years ago, Ziva was shocked to bet met with love. "I never thought I'd see you again. You don't look a day older," Ilia says. A tearful Ziva apologized for what happened, for leaving so suddenly, for not being there for her siblings. After pouring her heart out, Ilia reveals that she was never angry with her, but simply thankful to finally see her face one more time. To remind her of a greater purpose. Illia: "Promise me you won't ever forget you who you are." Ziva: "Right, right, a Goddess?" Illia: "...My little sister." Giving her a beaded necklace that her siblings made for her, with their names inscribed into it, during her time gone. Taking to the sky and into the vast reaches of space, she swore to protect life across the Universe with all of her spirit, and was thus known as The First, The Goddess of Life.
