Cowboy (Patreon)

For this illustration, I wanted to try drawing a new pose I'd never done before. I had a reference I used loosely, but did several sketches on paper to figure out how I could make the composition and angle more dynamic.

I didn't take as many process shots of this illustration, but you can see the sketch that I started out with here:

The different colors allow me to keep track of the 3 elements of my sketch. It worked reasonably well, though it took some fine-tuning to get to the final product.
