No surprise Adam chose to play your ‘64 330. Love that guitar! Wish I could have been there. Beautiful playing. Thanks for the clip.

Ronald Zimmer

Such a nice little warmup, fantastic playing as usual! I see you broke out the Collings and the LazyJ20, what a great sounding combo 😎

Michael Hurley

then suddenly I got that old time feeling

Joel Powell

Alas I live in the wrong place - so wonderful Alex. If soundcheck was that amazing, the workshop must've been perfect! Keep doing what you do!

Sean

Lovely and tasteful playing as always. You and Adam make a great pair!

Ron Culbertson

There’s no doubt you guys should live in the west. Apple Valley, California home Roy Rogers. With luck you’ll see a buffalo. Very nice playing thanks for sharing.

Maybe Adam will join your new band . This was perfection. Soul music for sure !

Thanks Ronald! Yes indeed, seemed the perfect companion to Adam's chosen setup!

Fantastic--a thousand thanks for making it available to those of us who couldn't be there live!

Thank you Eric, and thanks for being a part of it and for asking such great questions! 🙏🏻

Russell

I had a great night. Was quite worried that I would be well out of my depth here, but everything was explained really well. I’m very new to this style of music and missed what a lot of the songs were called. Would it be possible to get a track listing? Thanks for a great night.

Alex Farran Guitar

Thanks Russell, I’m so glad you enjoyed the workshop! The songs we discussed, in order, were “I Can’t Help It If I’m Still in Love with You” “All The Things You Are” “Sleep Walk” "Rose Room" Blues in Bb Beatles Tunes; Mother Natures' Son, Michelle, Fool On The Hill, Julia. “Cry Me a River” “Stardust”

Russell

That’s fantastic thank you.

Thorsten Blau

A huge thank you to you Alex and Adam for the amazing evening, from me as well. It was definitely worth the long trip from Western Germany. And the fact that I wasn't the only one who traveled so far should serve as a reminder to you, Alex, of what a fantastic job you're doing over the years! Hopefully, there will be an opportunity for me/us for another event like this in the future.

Alex Farran Guitar

Thank you so much my friend, I really appreciate the kind words and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! We will be doing many more of these, and I will also do some solo workshops also!

David Lockwood

Just love this playing. Truly inspirational!!

Tom

Jon, as I requested, please privately message me about any technical questions rather than posting comments on unrelated videos. You could even email me contact@alexfarranguitar.com I cannot send you a link.. there is no link. You simply go to your account settings and it’s right there, it’ll say “active subscriptions” and you literally just click on the little “unsubscribe” button next to my name. It takes all of 10 seconds to do. I cannot do it for you (for obvious safety reasons!)

Thank you! Great job. Those bends kill me! One of my all time favorite songs. Have you heard Lenny Breau’s several versions?
