Delphine

I was aware of some tritone subs and inversions to move between the 3 static chords in a minor blues... But your lesson blows up the number of possibilities. Pure joy for the ears [not so much for the fingers for some chords, though ;-) ]. Thanks.

Alex Farran Guitar

😁 Thank you Delphine!.. I'm so glad this lesson has introduced some new options and ideas to you! I'm sure your fingers will adapt to these shapes faster than you think ;)

MarkF

I just got a new (2020) Eastman AR805 so this lesson is perfect to try on this acoustic archtop. I am struggling with the thumb hook over not to mention the speed and feel but as you say start slowly. As always thank you for the hard work you put into your lessons it is appreciated.

Alex Farran Guitar

That's great to hear Mark!.. those are stunning looking guitars! Yes indeed, you'll get the hang of it for sure.. just keep chipping away with consistency and it'll inevitably happen 🙏🏻

Gert De Groof

Damn…seems I’m still in the umpa lumpa fase… I wanted to ask if you play the entire chord or the root/bassnote on the 1…thanks for clearing that out.

Alex Farran Guitar

My pleasure Gert! Haha, yeah it can be hard to break out of the Oompa Loompa phase, but keep working hard and it'll be a thing of the past 😉

Julian Gross

Nice Radiohead section 😂👌

Chip

Thanks for this lesson Alex. Do you have a “Head” pdf available like you did with Douce Ambiance? I found that really helpful! Cheers mate

Alex Farran Guitar

Hi Chip, glad you enjoyed the lesson! The first 16 bars of my chord study PDF is exactly the same as the changes for the "head" of the tune. Aside from the intro and outro melody, there isn't a set "head" melody for this one.
