Buonasera miei carissimi Patreons!

Pensavo di non farcela, ma alla fine sono riuscito a fare un post per Samhain (che molti di voi conoscono come Halloween; ma parleremo del mio amore per il paganesimo ed il mio interesse per l'esoterismo altrove)!

Ahimè non sono riuscito quest'anno a realizzare nulla di nuovo, ma voglio comunque postarvi uno shooting di nudo di quando avevo molto più tempo (e spazio) per dare sfogo alla mia creativià in una versione completamente reworkata ed editata da capo! Questo shooting infatti risale (pensate un po') al 20214! Fa proprio paura questa cosa, vero? :D

Ai tempi ovviamente la mia attrezzatura e la mia conoscenza della fotografia e della post produzione erano agli albori, pensate che data la pochissima luce artificiale che avevo a disposizione (una lampada montata su un supporto di plastica di Ikea) questi scatti sono fatti con dei tempi lentissimi, addirittura tra 1/15 ed 1/40; per non parlare degli ISO (3200) che per la fotocamera dell'epoca voleva significare spingere l'attrezzatura già di per se poco performante oltre ogni limite possibile! Chi mastica un po' di fotografia sa che ciò vuol dire ottenere nel 90% dei casi delle fotografie micromosse e tantissimo disturbo (o rumore digitale); la qualità delle fotografie dunque non può che essere bassa.

Eppure grazie alle nuove nozioni di post-produzione (compreso l'utilizzo dell'AI) sono riuscito a riprendere questo shooting ed addirittura rilavorarlo da capo! Ottenendo delle immagini sicuramente suggestive per questa notte di Samhain! Sinceramente in passato avevo abbandonato la lavorazione di questo shooting proprio perchè riguardano le fotografie mi ero reso conto di come alla buona idea fosse stata unita una scarsa realizzazione dal punto di vista tecnico, e mi ero disinnamorato di queste fotografie, arrivando a lavorarne solo una minima parte. Voi cari FANATICs siete i primi a vedere moltissimi di questi scatti! (E considerate che li sto lavorando proprio adesso, e non riesco ovviamente a farli tutti stasera, ma vi prometto che completererò il set ed aggiungerò le foto mancanti a questo post in seguito).

Ultima curiosità sulla realizzazione: i rami sono veri! Sono uscito la mattina dello shooting e al parco vicino casa ho raccolto rami, corteccia, ghiande etc per poi trasportarli fisicamente nella sala hobby allestendo il set. Non vi dico la felicità della mia ormai ex moglie quando riempii di sporcizia tutta casa per realizzare questo shooting :-D

Good evening my dear Patreons!

I thought I wouldn't make it, but I finally managed to make a post for Samhain (which many of you know as Halloween; but we'll talk about my love of paganism and my interest in esotericism elsewhere)!

Alas, I wasn't able to create anything new this year, but I still want to post a nude shooting from when I had much more time (and space) to give vent to my creativity in a completely reworked and edited version! In fact, this shooting dates back (think about it) to 20214! This is really scary, isn't it? :D

At the time obviously my equipment and my knowledge of photography and post production were in their infancy, just think that given the very little artificial light I had available (a lamp mounted on a plastic Ikea support) these shots were taken with very slow shutter speed, even between 1/15 and 1/40; not to mention the ISO (3200) which for the camera of the time meant pushing the already underperforming equipment beyond every possible limit! Anyone who knows a little about photography knows that in 90% of cases this means obtaining blurred photographs and a lot of digital noise; the quality of the photographs can therefore only be low.

Yet thanks to the new notions of post-production (including the use of AI) I was able to take back this shooting and even rework it from scratch obtaining some certainly suggestive images for this Samhain night! Honestly, in the past I had abandoned the work on this shooting precisely because it concerned the photographs, I realized how a good idea had been combined with poor implementation from a technical point of view, and I had fallen out of love with these photographs, only managing to work on a small number of them. part. You dear FANATICs are the first to see many of these shots! (And consider that I'm working on them right now and obviously I can't get them all done tonight, but I promise I will complete the set and add the missing photos to this post later on).

Last curiosity about the creation: the branches are real! I went out on the morning of the shooting and in the park near my house I collected branches, bark, acorns etc and then physically transported them to the hobby room to set up the set. I can't tell you how happy my now ex-wife was when I filled the whole house with dirt to do this shooting :-D
