Some sets are built with tons of lights and endless ideas… and then there are the ones that come from a single, simple, powerful intuition. This is one of those.
I photographed Melissa in a cold, surreal “experiment-like” mood, using very few elements… and the final result honestly surprised me for how intense and cinematic it feels.
If you love out-of-the-box series — the ones that aren’t just about beauty, but about making you feel something — this is exactly the post you want to unlock.Join the FANATICs and take your time with it: it’s one of those sets that stays with you.

Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Good morning my dear FANATICs!
Sometimes I feel the need to do something different — but truly different. Not just “swap an outfit and move on”… I mean changing the whole atmosphere, giving the shoot a completely new skin.
With Melissa it happened naturally: I pitched her a slightly crazy concept — a wild creature that can’t be contained, an experiment gone out of control — and she reacted with the kind of enthusiasm I love. She was curious, excited, and genuinely ready to step outside the usual comfort zone.
The setup was actually minimal: a plastic sheet and one cold light placed behind her.And yet… the moment we started, I realized something was happening. That veil became a barrier, a boundary, a soft prison. And Melissa played inside it in such a powerful way: at first there were laughs and a bit of awkwardness (because yes — it was a very strange situation 😄), and then she went deeper and deeper into the role.
At a certain point I wasn’t “shooting a set” anymore — I was watching a scene. A body in tension, hands and feet searching for a way out, that feeling of a silent scream… like the veil could tear open at any second.
I’m honestly very proud of how this series turned out, but I really want to know what it does to you: do you enjoy when I push into more artistic/surreal moods, or do you prefer more classic sets?
Let me know in the comments (and drop a like if it hit you): I’m genuinely curious. 🧊✨
