Buongiorno carissimi Patreons!
Ho fatto bene.
I primi test li ho fatti su me stesso, tra tentativi, errori e qualche difficoltà tecnica.

Good morning dear Patreons!
I made the right choice.Absolutely the right choice.
The joy of looking at the shots taken with the new flash is something I expected – having experienced it years ago when I was teaching photography in a fully equipped studio – but I had forgotten just how satisfying it could be.
For years I worked almost exclusively with continuous lights. I learned how to push them to their limits, squeezing every bit of performance out of my lenses to achieve the images I had in mind: moving subjects, stronger contrasts, sharper definitions.
Many times I succeeded.Other times I had to “patch things up” in post-production.And occasionally I had to accept that a photograph wasn’t quite what I had imagined.
At some point I realized that for certain ideas I had in mind, continuous light was starting to feel limiting.
After all, a professional studio deserves professional lighting, right?
So I decided to make the leap and bring a new studio flash into my setup. My first tests were self-portraits, with a few technical challenges and plenty of trial and error. Then I started using it during recent shoots… and that’s when I truly understood the difference.
The images become sharper.Details more defined. The light sculpts the body and the face with much greater precision.
It’s as if the photograph suddenly gains more presence.
And it is also thanks to you – your comments, your enthusiasm, and especially the support of the FANATICs, who continue to appreciate and encourage the exclusive content I publish here – that I decided to push the level of my work even further, investing in the studio and new equipment.
Because if this page keeps growing, it’s also thanks to you.
Now I want to explore just how far I can go with this new light: stronger portraits, deeper contrasts, perfectly frozen motion, and an even more powerful rendering of the image.
For now I’m sharing three small experiments: one self-portrait and two portraits taken during recent shoots. Simple tests, but I believe they already show the difference in light quality and image definition.
And I have the feeling that this is only the beginning.
