Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Oggi arriva The_rose_thief – Full Collection III, la terza raccolta completa dedicata a una delle presenze più strane, libere e imprevedibili passate davanti al mio obiettivo.

Con The_rose_thief il punto non è mai soltanto quanto sia bella la modella. Sarebbe quasi riduttivo parlarne così. La sua forza sta in un’altra zona: negli outfit che propone, nel modo in cui si muove dentro un ambiente, nella naturalezza con cui passa da uno scatto più classico a qualcosa di molto meno innocente, spesso senza che io debba nemmeno chiederle di spingersi oltre.

Questa è la cosa che mi interessa di più quando scatto con lei.

Molte volte io parto da una direzione abbastanza semplice: una posa, un punto di vista, un’idea generale, un angolo del giardino. Poi The_rose_thief prende quella traccia e la restituisce a modo suo. A volte la rende più ironica, a volte più strana, a volte più ardita, a volte semplicemente più sua. E mi capita davvero di seguirla, più che guidarla, per capire fin dove vuole portare lo scatto.

Naturalmente, per arrivare a certe immagini serve confidenza. Serve un feeling forte, costruito nel tempo. Serve quella libertà per cui puoi proporre un POV, aspettare la sua interpretazione e lasciare che il set trovi una forma magari diversa da quella che avevi immaginato all’inizio. Con lei succede spesso, ed è proprio per questo che questa collection ha un’identità così particolare.

Dentro Full Collection III trovate cinque set fotografici, cinque outfit, cinque atmosfere diverse, ma soprattutto trovate uno dei lavori più ambientati che abbia mai realizzato sulla pagina. Il giardino, con The_rose_thief, non resta mai un fondale decorativo. Diventa scena, diventa cornice, diventa quasi un piccolo mondo costruito intorno alla sua estetica.

E questa, secondo me, è la sua vera particolarità.

The_rose_thief non è una musa da consumo immediato. È una presenza più laterale, più cult, più difficile da incasellare. Non esplode come altre modelle della pagina per immediatezza, ma quando entri nel suo immaginario trovi qualcosa che con le altre non c’è: un misto di audacia, stranezza, gioco, atmosfera e ritratto ambientato che rende i suoi set immediatamente riconoscibili.

Per me questa terza collection è preziosa proprio perché racconta tutto questo senza doverlo spiegare troppo. La guardi e capisci che con lei lo shooting non è mai soltanto una sequenza di pose, ma un piccolo territorio da esplorare, pieno di deviazioni, dettagli, scelte estetiche e momenti in cui The_rose_thief decide di portare l’immagine dove vuole lei.

Good morning my dear FANATICs!

Today comes The_rose_thief – Full Collection III, the third complete collection dedicated to one of the strangest, freest and most unpredictable presences ever to stand in front of my lens.

With The_rose_thief, the point is never only how beautiful the model is. It would almost be reductive to speak about her that way. Her strength lives somewhere else: in the outfits she proposes, in the way she moves inside an environment, in the naturalness with which she shifts from a more classic shot to something far less innocent, often without me even having to ask her to push further.

That is what interests me the most when I shoot with her.

Many times, I start from a fairly simple direction: a pose, a point of view, a general idea, a corner of the garden. Then The_rose_thief takes that trace and returns it in her own way. Sometimes she makes it more ironic, sometimes stranger, sometimes more daring, sometimes simply more hers. And I often find myself following her more than directing her, just to understand how far she wants to take the shot.

Of course, to reach certain images you need confidence. You need a strong chemistry, built over time. You need that mutual freedom where I can suggest a POV, wait for her interpretation and let the set find a shape that may be different from what I had imagined at the beginning. With her, this happens often, and that is exactly why this collection has such a particular identity.

Inside Full Collection III, you will find five photographic sets, five outfits, five different atmospheres, but above all one of the most ambient-driven works I have ever created on the page. The garden, with The_rose_thief, never remains a decorative background. It becomes a scene, a frame, almost a small world built around her aesthetic.

And this, in my opinion, is her true peculiarity.

The_rose_thief is not a muse for immediate consumption. She is a more lateral, more cult, more difficult presence to frame. She may not explode like other models on the page through pure immediacy, but once you enter her imagery, you find something that the others do not have: a mix of audacity, strangeness, play, atmosphere and ambient portraiture that makes her sets immediately recognizable.

For me, this third collection is precious precisely because it tells all of this without needing to explain it too much. You look at it and understand that with her, a shooting is never just a sequence of poses, but a small territory to explore, full of deviations, details, aesthetic choices and moments in which The_rose_thief decides to take the image exactly where she wants it to go.
