Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Con questo video si chiude definitivamente il percorso di Alice G su questa pagina.

Riguardando questo backstage, mi sono reso conto che con Alice il punto non era mai il ritmo. Non era l’energia, non era la performance, non era il continuo cambio di posa. Con lei il lavoro è sempre stato un’altra cosa: più lento, più grafico, più silenzioso, quasi più legato alla costruzione dell’immagine che alla voglia di riempire ogni secondo.

Alice era una presenza fredda, composta, distante.

Una ragazza che sembrava quasi lasciarsi attraversare dal set invece di dominarlo apertamente, e che proprio per questo finiva per diventare una figura da osservare con più attenzione.

Il video ha questo ritmo.

È lento perché Alice si muove così: senza fretta, senza cercare di riempire ogni momento, senza dover dimostrare qualcosa a tutti i costi. Si lascia guardare, si lascia dirigere, si lascia aiutare negli outfit, cambia posizione, segue le indicazioni, e intanto il suo corpo snello, tonico, essenziale, continua a costruire immagini anche con gesti minimi.

Con lei bastava poco.

Una gamba distesa, una spalla ruotata, un profilo, un cambio d’abito, uno sguardo appena trattenuto. Non c’era bisogno di alzare continuamente il ritmo, perché la sua bellezza lavorava in un altro modo: più silenzioso, più distante, più contemplativo.

Good morning my dear FANATICs!

With this video, Alice G’s journey on this page comes definitively to an end.

Watching this backstage again, I realized that with Alice the point was never the rhythm. It was not the energy, it was not the performance, it was not the constant change of poses. With her, the work was always something else: slower, more graphic, quieter, almost more connected to the construction of the image than to the need to fill every second.

Alice was a cold, composed, distant presence.

A girl who almost seemed to let the set pass through her instead of openly dominating it, and precisely for that reason she became a figure to observe more carefully.

The video has this rhythm.

It is slow because Alice moves like that: without hurry, without trying to fill every moment, without needing to prove anything at all costs. She lets herself be watched, lets herself be directed, lets herself be helped with the outfits, changes position, follows the indications, and meanwhile her slim, toned, essential body continues to build images even with minimal gestures.

With her, very little was needed.

A stretched leg, a rotated shoulder, a profile, an outfit change, a barely held gaze. There was no need to constantly raise the rhythm, because her beauty worked in another way: quieter, more distant, more contemplative.

And maybe this is exactly what makes this final backstage interesting.
