E se il primo segnale è questo, il resto dello shooting promette decisamente male.

Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Eccolo qui: Red Signal.

Il primo set completo di Olympia sulla pagina, oltre 40 fotografie nate all’inizio della giornata, quando di solito il set serve ancora a conoscersi, a prendere ritmo, a capire quanto la modella sia disposta a lasciarsi guidare.

Io pensavo di doverla accompagnare dentro lo shooting.

Dopo pochi minuti ho capito che era già più avanti di me.

Questa è stata la cosa che mi ha colpito di più: Olympia non aspettava soltanto indicazioni. Alcune pose, alcuni gesti, alcune espressioni sono arrivati da lei, in modo spontaneo, con una sicurezza fisica che non sembrava quella di un semplice riscaldamento. C’erano momenti in cui io stavo ancora valutando come far crescere il set, e lei aveva già portato la scena un passo più in là.

Non in modo caotico, non forzato.

Proprio naturale.

Si girava, cambiava espressione, sistemava il corpo, guardava l’obiettivo con quella faccia pulita e quasi quotidiana, e subito dopo tirava fuori un’energia molto meno innocente. Ed è lì che Red Signal ha iniziato davvero a funzionare: nel contrasto tra il viso giovane, diretto, quasi da ragazza della porta accanto, e tutto il resto — i tatuaggi, la lingerie rossa, la luce dura, lo sfondo nero, quella malizia che arrivava senza bisogno di essere spinta troppo.

Questo non era ancora il momento più estremo dello shooting.

Era il primo capitolo.

Ed è proprio per questo che mi interessa tanto: perché già qui si vede il segnale preciso di quello che Olympia poteva portare dentro questa pagina. Non una modella da scaldare lentamente, non una presenza da convincere, ma una ragazza che ha capito molto presto il linguaggio del set e ha cominciato a giocarci a modo suo.

Per me Red Signal è questo: il momento in cui ho capito che con Olympia non avrei dovuto soltanto dirigere.

Avrei dovuto anche stare pronto a farmi sorprendere.

Good morning my dear FANATICs!

Here it is: Red Signal.

Olympia’s first complete set on the page, over 40 photographs created at the very beginning of the day, when usually the set is still about getting to know each other, finding the rhythm, understanding how much the model is willing to be guided.

I thought I would have to lead her into the shooting.

After a few minutes, I realized she was already ahead of me.

That was what struck me the most: Olympia was not simply waiting for directions. Some poses, some gestures, some expressions came directly from her, spontaneously, with a physical confidence that did not feel like a simple warm-up. There were moments when I was still trying to understand how to let the set grow, and she had already taken the scene one step further.

Not in a chaotic way, not forced.

Completely natural.

She turned, changed expression, adjusted her body, looked into the lens with that clean and almost everyday face, and right after that brought out an energy that was far less innocent. And that is where Red Signal truly started to work: in the contrast between the young, direct face, almost like the girl next door, and everything else — the tattoos, the red lingerie, the hard light, the black background, that mischief that arrived without needing to be pushed too much.

This was not yet the most extreme moment of the shooting.

It was the first chapter.

And that is exactly why I find it so interesting: because already here you can see the precise signal of what Olympia could bring into this page. Not a model to slowly warm up, not a presence to convince, but a girl who understood the language of the set very quickly and started playing with it in her own way.

For me, Red Signal is this: the moment when I understood that with Olympia I would not only have to direct.

I would also have to be ready to be surprised.
