Apparition was Bea’s debut set.

Soft, delicate, magnetic.

Today you will see how those shots truly came to life: a new model entering the studio, her figure ready to pose, the veil following her movements, the light drawing her tanned silhouette against the black background.

Ten minutes of RAW backstage, deliberately kept close to the real set: my directions, the search for the pose, the small adjustments, the exact moment when an image begins to take shape.

Here Bea is still warming up. She is not yet the overwhelming, relaxed and smiling girl you will discover in the next contents, but that is exactly what gives this video its own special charm: it shows the first encounter, the first trust, the first way Bea lets herself be guided into my visual world.

A fundamental debut.

And the beginning of one of the most surprising shootings ever arrived on Patreon. 🎥

Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Good morning my dear FANATICs!

Today’s Cinematic Tuesday takes a different direction than usual, with Bea and the full backstage of her first set: Apparition.

After Sunday’s poll, I thought a lot about what you wrote. The jokes, spontaneous moments and lighter interactions with the models are something many of you enjoy, and they will absolutely keep being part of these videos. But another request came out very clearly: seeing more of the real backstage, the less constructed side, less like a “montage clip” and closer to what actually happens during a shooting.

This video was born exactly from that.

It is about 10 minutes of backstage with very few cuts. I left many dialogues, many indications, many directions given to Bea during the set, precisely to let you enter more clearly into the way I try to build certain images. It is not the most dynamic or funniest video on the page, but I think it is one of the most interesting ones if you enjoy understanding what really happens between photographer and model while the set takes shape.

And there is another important aspect: this was the first set with Bea.

The confidence you will see later was not there yet. In the next contents, Bea will be much more relaxed, smiling, spontaneous, full of jokes and funny moments. Here, instead, we are still at the beginning, in that phase where you study each other, find the rhythm, understand how to communicate, how to move, how to reach the right image together.

For me, this makes the backstage even more real.

You see the work before the naturalness. You see Bea entering the set, listening, trying, adjusting, following a direction, while I try to guide her towards the shots I had in mind. Apparition was born like this: not from an immediate connection, but from a gradual process made of attention, directions and constant small adjustments.

It is a more raw kind of content, slower, closer to the real studio experience.

And that is exactly why it has a very premium value: it does not only show Bea in front of the camera, it brings you inside the set with me, in the moment when the image is searched for, built and finally found.

I am curious to know if you like this direction and whether you want to see more backstage videos like this: less edited, more complete, closer to the real work.

Because this is a less spectacular and more real backstage.

And maybe, precisely for this reason, it tells Bea and my way of working much more than many perfect montages. 🎥
