Ho messo un velo di tulle bianco tra Manuela e la luce, immaginando qualcosa di leggero, elegante, quasi sospeso.

Lei lo ha trasformato in una dichiarazione di presenza.

Wild Grace è un set minimale, luminoso, estremamente raffinato, costruito intorno alla forza scenica di una performer che non si limita a posare: danza dentro l’inquadratura, usa il gesto come linguaggio, lascia che il velo diventi mantello, movimento, tensione, respiro.

I placed a white tulle veil between Manuela and the light, imagining something light, elegant, almost suspended.

She turned it into a statement of presence.

Wild Grace is a minimal, luminous, extremely refined set, built around the scenic strength of a performer who does not simply pose: she dances inside the frame, uses gesture as language, and lets the veil become mantle, movement, tension, breath.

At first, the image seems made only of grace: soft lines, carefully shaped poses, a light and theatrical femininity. Then Manuela starts pushing everything further. The delicacy remains, but becomes more decisive. The movement stays elegant, but turns into command. The white, instead of softening the set, ends up making her strength even more visible.

Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Oggi arriva Manuela – Wild Grace, uno dei set più raffinati e allo stesso tempo più audaci realizzati durante il nostro shooting.

L’idea di partenza era semplice: un set di nudo artistico molto pulito, un velo di tulle bianco, una luce essenziale e Manuela libera di usare il corpo come una ballerina, un’attrice, una performer. Pochi elementi, nessuna costruzione superflua, nessun artificio a sostenere l’immagine al posto suo.

E proprio per questo il set funziona.

Con Manuela succede una cosa che mi colpisce molto: la posa non sembra mai soltanto una posa. Anche quando il gesto è minimo, c’è sempre una qualità teatrale, un’intenzione, una specie di controllo interno che rende l’immagine più carica. Si sente che arriva dalla danza, dal palco, dalla performance. Non sta semplicemente cercando una forma bella: sta abitando il set.

Il velo, in questo senso, è diventato quasi un compagno di scena. Non un accessorio decorativo, ma qualcosa con cui Manuela costruisce ritmo, linee, coperture, aperture, piccoli momenti di sospensione. E più il set va avanti, più quella grazia iniziale comincia a cambiare natura.

La cosa più forte di Wild Grace, per me, è proprio questa: Manuela parte da una bellezza leggera, elegante, quasi classica, e poi la porta in una direzione molto più audace, fisica, dominante. Negli ultimi scatti si sente chiaramente che non sta più solo danzando dentro l’immagine: la sta governando.

E la cosa impressionante è che non perde mai classe.

Anche quando il set diventa più diretto, più intenso, più difficile da guardare con distacco, Manuela resta sempre dentro una qualità scenica precisa. Non c’è casualità, non c’è improvvisazione buttata lì. C’è una performer che capisce perfettamente cosa sta facendo e fino a dove può spingere l’immagine senza farle perdere eleganza.

Per me questo è uno dei suoi capitoli più belli proprio perché tiene insieme due forze opposte: la grazia del bianco, del tulle, della danza, e quella presenza molto più libera e audace che emerge quando Manuela decide di prendersi completamente l’inquadratura.

Today comes Manuela – Wild Grace, one of the most refined and, at the same time, most audacious sets from our shooting.

The starting idea was simple: a very clean artistic nude set, a white tulle veil, essential light, and Manuela free to use her body like a dancer, an actress, a performer. Very few elements, no unnecessary construction, no artifice holding the image together in her place.

And that is exactly why the set works.

With Manuela, there is something that always strikes me: the pose never feels like just a pose. Even when the gesture is minimal, there is always a theatrical quality, an intention, a kind of inner control that makes the image more charged. You can feel that she comes from dance, from stage, from performance. She is not simply looking for a beautiful shape: she is inhabiting the set.

In this sense, the veil became almost a scene partner. Not a decorative accessory, but something Manuela uses to build rhythm, lines, concealments, openings, small moments of suspension. And the further the set goes, the more that initial grace begins to change its nature.

For me, this is the strongest part of Wild Grace: Manuela starts from a light, elegant, almost classical beauty, and then carries it into something much more audacious, physical and dominant. In the final shots, you can clearly feel that she is no longer just dancing inside the image: she is governing it.

And the impressive thing is that she never loses class.

Even when the set becomes more direct, more intense, harder to look at with distance, Manuela remains inside a precise scenic quality. There is no randomness, no careless improvisation. There is a performer who understands exactly what she is doing and how far she can push the image without making it lose elegance.

For me, this is one of her most beautiful chapters precisely because it holds together two opposite forces: the grace of white, tulle and dance, and that much freer, more audacious presence that emerges when Manuela decides to take full possession of the frame.
