Bea – The Smile è libero, diretto, unconventional, impossibile da raccontare fino in fondo senza mostrarlo.

Have you ever seen a model laugh so naturally while the set moves into one of the boldest chapters I have ever created with her?
With Bea, it really happened: she talked, joked, smiled, completely at ease, while the camera was free to follow her through one of the most unpredictable sequences of the entire shooting.
And that is exactly the contrast that makes The Smile such an absurd chapter: the lightness of her laughter, the naturalness of her gestures, the total complicity of the moment… while the images were going much further than that smile would ever suggest.
Bea – The Smile is free, direct, unconventional, impossible to fully describe without showing it.

Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Good morning my dear FANATICs!
Today comes Bea – The Smile, one of the most absurd, free and spontaneous sets I have ever created.
The incredible thing is not only the strength of the images, but the way they were born. Bea and I were talking, laughing, joking with such natural ease that, at certain moments, I almost forgot to shoot. And all of this was happening while we were creating one of the boldest chapters of her shooting.
This, in my opinion, says more about Bea than any explanation could.
No embarrassment, no stiffness, no cold pose built just to look like something. Bea was simply there: calm, smiling, direct, perfectly at ease in front of the camera. And that lightness made the set even more incredible, because the contrast between the atmosphere of the shooting and the direction of the images is something I had rarely experienced with this intensity.
The Smile is Bea at her most natural.
Genuine, free, uninhibited, able to enter even the boldest ideas without losing freshness, smile and spontaneity. It is one of those sets I could never have built at a table, because it was born from real complicity, from a relaxed atmosphere, from the kind of trust that allows photography to go much further.
And the best part is that this section of the shooting was also recorded in the backstage video.
There are working moments, conversations, laughter and some truly remarkable POV sequences that I think will make you understand even better what I mean when I talk about the complicity created with Bea. Because the photos already say a lot, but seeing how we got there will be something else entirely.
For me, The Smile is one of the most representative chapters of her path on the page.
Maybe not the most orderly, maybe not the most “classic”, but definitely one of the chapters where Bea shows best that freedom that makes her so special in front of the camera.
Write me below what you think, because I am truly curious to know if you also feel this contrast: the smile, the lightness, the natural ease of the moment… and the incredible strength of the images that came out of it.
