We've had a few reports recently regarding issues with the dsp3000.games website.
These have mostly been slow loading times and freeze ups.

We have identified what's been causing this.

When Chapter 16 was launched about two weeks ago, it coincided with a big update to the whole website. Effectively, this was a full site rebuild on the virtual hosting server.
Combined with a huge up turn in traffic to the site on the game release, our usual 1tB bandwidth allowance was massively exceeded during the monthly billing cycle.
A third of that bandwidth was used on the release day alone such was the surge in demand.

The site required more than double it's allocated monthly bandwidth which slowed everything down and gave me a rather large increase in server costs.
We are onto the next month's cycle now so hopefully service should be back to normal.

The combination of new game release and web updates caused the spike in demand and in hindsight it's something we should have anticipated.
Unfortunately, at the moment I'm still very much preoccupied with some very difficult and heartbreaking real world stuff, so it's no surprise that I missed the notification emails from the hosting provider.

As the website and the game continues to grow, it's something that we will keep a close eye on.
In the meantime please report any issues via direct message to me here.

Thanks again for all your support, patience and understanding.

Thanks for the update. Don’t stretch yourself too thin.

Apologies if this isn’t the right place for this, but is anyone else having an issue with the game not showing their name in the dialogue?

You should contact DSP directly if you have such problems, as we are unlikely to be able to help you. He will, because he is the master of the website and the game.
