I think I might start uploading ASMR audios like this now! Not only can you all play it right away instead of having to wait for it, you can just listen and I can also have Preview audio to give a lil taste!~Would you all be okay with this change? LMKAnyways, enjoy some PASSIONATE earlicks! There will be more ASMRs releasing over this week and the next so be ready!~

I‘d say I like this change. Google Drive had some issues (although very rarely, I should add), where the media wasn‘t available, and said to try again later. The good thing about it was though, that I could save the audio locally to play them in my own media player, which is nice for being able to loop it. The Patreon app either doesn‘t have that feature or I haven’t found it yet, but it‘s not really that big of a deal. In any case, amazing work as always, Raya 💜😄

I just realized that the "media unavailable" thing is probably what you described in the post, silly me 😅 So yeah. I think the audio being available to play right away is very nice 👍🏼

Komet

I love this change. Makes me able to play it directly trough the app without switching back and forth trough browsers etc.

RayaRiot

Omg that would be amazing if they could add a looping feature but apparently you can listen directly on the phone app too so I love how accessible that is :3

RayaRiot

Yeah I’m surprised I just NOW decided to post like this but if everyone’s enjoying the instant play and not having to go different places that makes me happy :D

Saftkeks

Yeah, the phone app is what I‘ve been using the entire time :D

Aulitear

If I could loop this all day I would. makes my brain melt

Marcel Healer

Having instant access is 1000% better. Very good change.

The audio can be saved (I just found it myself) if you click the ellipses at the bottom of the post near the like and reply icons, it has a download button to download as an MP3.

Saftkeks

There is a download button, but I think that‘s only for playing the file offline in the Patreon app, because it‘s not showing up in my file explorer. I‘m on iOS, dunno if it might be different for you, depending on your platform.

FakeOtaku

Yes this great being able to listen immediately is amazing

Sean

Sorry for the late reply, I'm on a Windows PC, using Opera GX. I also just checked on my Android, and had both a "Download" and "Save to Device" option, the latter allowed me to play it through the music app at my liesure. So maybe an alternative to play it on mobile if iOS does not support the "Save to Device" is download it on a PC or Android then transfer it to your phone.

Saftkeks

Thanks for the reply 😄 I actually just found out that I can save audios to my device if I open Patreon in my phone‘s browser and click on the ellipses you mentioned before. I had already tried that after your previous comment, but for some reason the "Download" option only shows, when you‘re specifically on the creator‘s page, as I found out now. When looking at the post in the Recent feed, clicking the ellipses only brings up the "Report this content" option, so I thought downloading just isn‘t an option on iOS. Very confusing, but I figured it out now without any workarounds required 👍🏼😂
