Sorry for the late update!

To put it mildly, I overcooked! The Holomyth animation is 2-minutes long and I'm scrambling during the video editing process, my bad.

And also, there's lots of things going on right now IRL. I will clarify it later on at this post. To start with, I wanna give you guys an update regarding my next project, Nerissa Ravencroft.

Project 27 - Update 1 - 02/22/2025 (Nerissa Ravencroft)

Nerissa Ravencroft is definitely one of the most well-designed model in Hololive EN. However, I kinda realize that picking up Nerissa right now is one of the worst mistakes that I have ever done right now 😭

Taking a look at her design sheet, Nerissa's model is too overwhelming for me. There are too many textures, too many carvings, and (oh I'm so dead right now 😭) a bunch furs and wings just for the sake of it. And her horns are...wow I'm not mentally prepared to handle it. Now, I'm not saying that it's bad to have a complex design. But this is straight up looks like I'm dealing with the work of a massively stoned architect right now. I prefer designing Furina to be honest (pls help 😭)

But I would say that in terms of complexity, it was kinda similar to the models of Nijisanji EN. I think the hardest models that I've ever dealt with were Finana and Rosemi. Most of Finana's complexity are merely restricted to the 3D models. It's very doable, most of them could be mirrored, but it was quite overwhelming in terms of the amount of 3D accessories. Rosemi's complexity lies on her unique skirts, frills and flowers. It's kinda hard to keep the models in tact while rigging. As long as the model remains connected, the model would not get overstretched by the rig. But Nerissa's compexities are pretty much exist throughout the entire process. From modeling, to texturing, to add a bunch of tiny bits of accessories. And the worst part, most of Nerissa's accessories are non-mirrored, so I kinda have to deal with a bunch of them for each sides. It's a very time-consuming process, so I need to make a lot of compromise when creating it.

I think my Nerissa's model looks pretty good on a surface. However, I would leave it open for a model remake or remaster. With that out of the way, let's talk about my IRL stuff

Diary - IRL Stuff

Right. To put it mildly, my IRL stuff gets a lot more physically demanding this month, and I think it's going to get worse down the road later on. Eventually this puts me in a lot of strain, and everytime I wanna work on my works (and even project synthetic) I would always pass out halfway through. My legs were shaking and my hands keep quivering, it's really hard for me to keep my pace up (why do I talk as if I'm getting railed 🤣). So I got myself some contingency plans to deal with it.

1. I'm applying for EB-1

Now I know I'm just a poor goofball that makes a funny R34 parody, but I was pretty surprised to see that I'm qualified. It's still pretty subjective though. Even if they deemed me qualified, it truly depends on the officer that picks up my docs. It is straight up a Hail Mary throw, and I expect some counterarguments from them 2 months from now, and I've got my documents prepared recently. My case is in the range of IOE092xxxx so it was pretty recent. Hopefully with better laws, I'd have time to do more on this page. If my EB-1 case ever gets anywhere, I'll write up a new diary about it.

2. I'm getting my tech certs

If my EB-1 were about to go anywhere, I know for a fact that my degree would be nothing more than just a piece of paper over there. And the most affordable way to solve it is to get my tech certs up and running. I'll take it on March and we'll see how it goes.

3. I'll look for a better condition

If my 1st case doesn't go anywhere, but my 2nd case does, I'll try to look for better options. However, it's gonna be rough if it isn't. I cannot say for sure about the future. The only thing I could say is that the plans were already in place. Hopefully it would go pretty well.
