Happy Holidays! Project 16 - Update 2 - 12/25/2023 (Patreon)

Hi guys!

I wish you all a happy holiday! Thank you so much for your support throughout the year! There is so much stuff that I've learned this year. I hope I can be a lot better next year as well!

This week, I spent mostly creating Santa outfits for Obsydia members. I decided to improvise because I'm pretty much on the clock right now haha. At least the important problems have been dealt with.

Rosemi's outfit is primarily inspired by her default outfit, with lots of frills that serve as the backbone of her secondary color. Eventually, I decided to stick with the approach and put lots of frills on her outfit.

Petra's outfit is pretty hard to figure out. Her base outfit is essentially a sailor's uniform with a penguin hoodie. As a replacement for the sailor's collar, I put a mantle on her outfit. It kinda reminds me of the Little Red Riding Hood. I think it suits her.

Selen's outfit is even harder to decide. Her base outfit is pretty much "a gamer in a LAN Party" vibes. Her newer design isn't even related to her original design either. With the lack of design direction, I decided to take inspiration from Oktoberfest. I don't know why, but I kinda know that it would look nice to her.

Background

I decided to refurnish Rosemi's room to look more atmospheric. I added many lights and changed the lighting to make the room look better. I also managed to create generative flames for the firepit. The hardest part is making the Pine Tree. I tried to make my own Pine Leaf Model that would be generated as hair to the tree. But it caused performance issues. I have to downgrade it to a PNG image so that it does not take too much memory.

As for the Gura animation, there seem to be memory issues during the rendering process. I only managed to render one of them. The background size is around 100 yards. I will remove some objects to ease the rendering process.
