2024 Recap & Transparency (Patreon)

Hey folks. As many of you know, we didn't end up reaching our goals for this year as I failed to profit on tracked bets for the first time since I started tracking my betting in 2020. I wanted to make this post in the interest of full transparency. A lot of people have had success betting the events live in chat based on our conversations and using the weekly resource documents, but if anyone blindly tailed my pre fight bets this year, they would be down -2.6U (in my case, -$260). Since I started tracking my bets, I have profited +129.5U, but I have had brutal runs in the past, so I know what it's like to struggle and bounce back. I started my tracked MMA betting journey down -14U in 2020, and at one point in 2021, I was down -44U. I ended 2021 +41.5U at an 8% ROI. In 2022, I ran up 99.3U at a 12% ROI. In 2023, I lowered my risk allocation and profited 6.3U at a 4% ROI. I profited on ML bets this year (+1.1U @ 1% ROI, nothing to write home about) but it was prop bets that killed me (-3.7U @ -5% ROI). Historically, I did really well with props (10% ROI in 2022, 15% ROI in 2021), but the prop markets have gotten sharper seemingly. Lifetime to date, I am still profitable on props with +34.8U @ 5% ROI, but I will be a lot more focused on handicapping MLs in 2025. Straight fight picks remain my strongest betting category with +86U profit @ 8% ROI. Also, I just wanted to remind folks I didn't track a lot of my DWCS angles because I couldn't bet them here in NY, but those sheets were profitable and I hope they help contributed to your betting results in 2024. If you think my best days are behind me, I respect your opinion and your support along the way. I am sorry if I let you down this year.
