I absolutely love when a villain reach his objective. It's such a rule in shonen(or in media in general lol) that the villain will lose at the last moment. Kars getting what he wants, and the way he did it being pretty believable is just peak writing. Edit: i forgot how good is this new Kars theme, jesus christ man

Luke, you keep minimizing anyones parental experiences but your own. No one can have or be a bad parent, no parent can be a selfish parent. No parent can have a kid as a tool for them to reach their own dreams etc etc. Have all the American kid paagaent shows not shown that this can absolutely be the case? All the rich kids who act out? Hey, I know you can't remember everything and I'm actually impressed by how much you manage to remember in all the anime you watch, but it's bugging me when you say lisa lisa raised ceaser, so i decided to remind you. You've seen his backstory, he was not raised by her at all, sure maybe for an year or two, but definitely no more than that. They showed him becoming a part of a mafia and other stuff like that, because of his rage about his father and all that stuff. So now if you think about it, lisa lisa probably wasn't really fine to look after jojo for a long time, which would also make sense considering her crime in the eyes of everyone. Love your reactions, keep it up! Can't wait till you reach One Piece. Right now watching naruto with you for the third time, and I only wanna say my number 2 is Naruto and number one is One Piece, so you have quite a lot to look forward to!

No he’s not, he’s making a good point. There are bad parents in real life that are horrible and do terrible things but in every anime the parents leaving or whatever are always shown doing it out of love and is supposed to be like a “selfless” act, but most of the time anyone with a brain can think of better ways than what they do. Here for example there is no reason Joseph had to think his mom died, and he could visit her in Italy whenever, just because he’s with her doesn’t mean she has to say anything about Hamon. She could just pretend it doesn’t exist in front of him. And if they don’t want him to know all they have to do is make up a plausible lie.
