To be fair to the narrator, he didn't say Joseph died, only that Stroheim told Speedwagon that Joseph had died. Yes, this does feel like a perfect ending, which is why part feels like a soft reboot in more ways than one. There is one big difference between the first 2 parts and all the parts going forward, with these next parts adding one of the big if not biggest component JBA is known for.

I'm pretty sure Joseph getting saved by the rock is kinda valid. It's super heavy, so it wouldn't lose that much velocity when it hits the water surface and would gradually slow down after submerging. It would probably still cause a lot of injury, but I'm pretty sure it's safer than just falling into water. It makes more sense than Joseph surviving getting shot out of a volcano at escape velocity.

As crazy as it seems, part 1 and 2 are just prologues. The real Jojo starts from part 3 onwards and takes the word bizzare seriously :)

"My feelings for this character, very bizarre" I mean. It's the right show for that. I will say here's the point where, while not vitally important, I'd highly recommend watching the openings every time, it adds a layer I certainly missed out on on my own watch through.

In complete fairness to Stroheim, He has never identified once as a Nazi, I think the closest was maybe an Elon salute, nor has he said anything disparaging about the Jewish people. That being said, he was certainly a cunt, especially closer to the start of the part, but I think by the time he died, he had outgrown a lot of that behaviour as he realised just how big a threats were out there, and that he wasn't on top like he thought he was. Stroheim did not die in 1943 as a Nazi, he died as a proud German warrior, it's just unfortunate that Most other soldiers he was fighting alongside happened to be Nazi's

In fairness against Stroheim though, If he hadn't encountered the pillarmen, he was definitely on the path to being a full fledged Nazi.

Is not spoiler. But to warning you for prepare to the future parts. It will get way more longer, per part will have 39 eps atleast. The next part will be the longest in the anime with 48 eps and it split with 2 arc or cour you can say. Just a warning. Since i already watch alot of Reaction CC that not liking part 3 (next season) that much because it's too long. But if you can be little open mind, the way they did isn't that bad. Is like you play Open World Games but with a lot of side mission. And well the rest of the part from here is kinda like that but have some of their own unique that i can't tell since it is spoiler. Anyway, i having much fun watching you finish the 2 parts of JoJo's. Also this is my first time using patreon, it's quite complicated in my country, i need to register VISA in my bank, cause somehow they seperated which is now i have 2 bank under the same bank name. Which is doubling my TAXES. I'm not a fan of that. So i probably only use it when necessary, so sorry for not much of helping in this platform. While they were 'killing off' Jojo I was wondering how on earth a next generation of Joestars was going to work, since Lisa Lisa married into the family so if she had another kid it wouldn't have Joestar blood. The fact Joseph survived was hilarious. While Luke was outraged at the Narrator for lying, I instead went back to see what the narrator said. Technically the narrator didn't lie. He said that Stronheim told Speedwagon that Jojo died. The narrator is just an asshole and wrote it in a way where it seemed like it was being officially declared. I honestly love that since I didn't even catch onto that in the moment. Also it's insane that we're now in Japan and in the 80's. This is still early in the series isn't it? I'm sure in the stuff Luke's watched we saw a bunch of different Jojo's, so if they're all generational then the most recent Jojo must take place either in modern times or even the future? That was not what I was expecting going into this series. Also the fact Kars is still alive makes me wonder if they'll bring him back as a villain one day. Narrator implies that won't happen, but it would be neat to see the Joestars finish what they started.

Nah, don't head cannon Stroheim. Dude was a Nazi. At most, we have no idea what his feelings were for the vile aspects of Germany in the war, but you don't die a proud German warrior in 1943 without being morally compromised at that point. Which is fine, you can still like him as a character, he formed an uneasy alliance to help destroy a global threat. He did some cool shit. It's not like anyone who enjoys him as a character are looking to model themselves after his moral foundations or personal beliefs.

I've said it before, but Battle Tendency is my favorite arc of Jojo, and Joseph is my favorite Jojo. That said, when people say "Jojo", part 3 is really the start of what they mean. Way back in the day, the ancient part 3 OAVs were what got me into the series, so I'm excited to see what you think of the craziness that's about to come. Be warned, it's a very long arc with ups and downs when it comes to story telling, but does have some of the most epics scenes in the entire series.

I'm such a huge fan of Iwasaki Taku , his ost always fit on the vibe of a show so well. Whenever orchestra, guitar, and rap get mix it becomes so hype! When somber music plays, it's so beautiful. Maybe one day you'll react to Soul Eater and Gurren Lagann. Iwasaki Taku's best work. Katanagatari being my favorite.

Personally I would think the rock would break up upon entering the atmosphere in real life. But again its an anime so that's not really a big issue cause Joseph is alive and that's all that matters

exactly, part 3 is like my least favorite part tbh, that or part 1 not sure.....Main villain and the last like 5 episodes are peak, but everything before that is quite a slog with only some memable moments

I absolutely love that Luke predicted both the volcano and getting blasted into space. 😆 The only thing I’m sad about with these reactions is that we don’t get to see the openings and endings. Especially with the changes on the finales. But you only notice the changes if you’ve been watching them in the first place.
