The "Is it wrong to pick up girls in heaven?" Joke was hilarious to me

You wanted a horror. YOU GOT A HORROR!

Sylisen E.

I'm done XD Luke got himself a red flag !!!

Raven-Seven

first waiting for episodes every week, now waiting for reactions every week.. how did i get here lmao. still enjoyed every bit of it absolutely! However, THAT RED FLAG.. when he just randomly PULLED IT OUT OF NO WHERE... I didn't know if i wanted to be speechless, or spam out questions. or just straight up laugh.. or do all three. My god that was amazing.

Daniel Gonzalez

And to think we almost got him on that episode 10 cliffhanger last week at least his reaction made up for it I probably had the same 1st time I saw it like wtf that's our MC and that was his arm and his neck just ducking snapped

The really funny thing - I think I’m in the part of the LN series (vol 5) that Bell is referring to where he “met” Ryuu on the 18th floor - where he, Welf, and Lili survived the pass parade by the Takemikazuchi familia, and, through desperation and by the skin of their teeth, found safe haven on floor 18, with Ryuu being recruited by Hermes to be part of the search and rescue party. Haven’t quite read the part Bell is referring to yet, but it definitely was a “holy crap” moment, realizing I knew exactly what he was referring to.

@GOTGames can you please to react to (Mori Calliope Featuring Kobo Kanaeru) (song Midnight Mayoi)

ArtKi

Chat: Luke is not ready for this. 8:03 Narrator: Indeed, Luke was not ready. 1:18:35 a *peak* moment in DBZ was when one character beat the crap out of another character while he was powering up "It looked like you were going to do something dangerous." (not a spoiler! DBZ 1,000 times somebody is powering up in front of their opponent) 1:59:06 The sound fx of the blue napalm hitting Haruhime. INSANELY GOOD.

T3RS1

The best Danmachi stream so far!

Nero Integrate

It's so funny how people in chat are crying cause Luke compared the anime he's currently watching to another anime he's currently watching. How can you get butthurt over something so simple? hahahah

Arctic_Hokkyoku

The Juggernaut is litterally Mirror Force Dragon from Yu Gi Oh

Arctic_Hokkyoku

Luke, Anireviews did Skipped content for Danmatchi also if you want to check a few out around this section of the anime. Words are even more discriptive than visuals but probably 81+ Rated.

Christian Diaz

I was late to the stream so I’m watching this here 😭

lmp

Cassandra "Call off the mission, leave Aisha with the group, don't go to floor 27." Luke "Why doesn't she say anything usefull?" If they called off the mission Ryu kills evil guy before he summons despair, Aisha staying 100% helped, and not going to floor 27 saved them from getting killed so Bors can escape.

Arctic_Hokkyoku

Its Cassandra's curse on Luke. He doesn't believe her either

KennethVilla

I just realized something. Episode 13 is Kirito making amends for Sachi’s death 🤣

TheErisianMonk

And here I was worried Luke would say he hated characters who "NYAH!" 1:56:55 ABSOLUTELY!!!! I was watching a reaction to all 3 LoTR movies on Sorta Stupid's channel yesterday, and this a OST is screaming LoTR, hard. Earlier, yes, very yes, all I could hear was Star Wars music, as I had seen Sorta Dtupid react to ALL of the Star Wars movies over the last 2 days. Those soundtracks are damn fresh in my mind, so DanMachi S4 is a perfect match/meld/remix/descendant.

TheErisianMonk

2:00:30 What happened? It got real. That's the dream, mate. Give me MOOOORE fantasy and isekai anime series that, even if they start off funny, maybe ecchi, perhaps a bit parody-ish, but when it comes time to die, kill, curse, give in, wallow in agony and sorrow, fucking DO IT. I am Isekai Trash, so I am damn forgiving about much of the trashy, stupid, pitiful, immersion breaking, recycled crap that gets put out there. However, I crave the REAL stories. Where life and safety are not guaranteed. Where choices must be made and there's no going back. Tales with characters who piss themselves when they're terrified, fuck when they're horny, cuss when they're just fucking done with it or pissed off past any curtesy, get wasted and do dumb shite, but it's not just a gag. I want living, breathing, crapping, whining, raging, lonely, expressive, greedy, believable people in my anime, damn it!

rarebearvt

I don't understand how Danmachi just keeps getting better and better but I'm so glad it does

BoldWulf

The long silence after episode 10 was peak reacting!!!!!

Kyle Garrett

INTERESTING. Ouranos said his prayers can't reach the dungeon when it's taken a lot of pain and is in misery, and the 'alarm' sounds like screams of pain. Once again my theory that Gaia is the 'mother' of the Dungeon is getting support! Originally I thought the dungeon was like the entrance to Tartarus and Ouranos was basically the jailor making sure she was contained and trapped. The problem with that was if Bell saves her then he becomes an enemy of the gods which doesn't make a ton of sense. Plus Ouranos hasn't shown himself as evil at all, so I kind of just assumed I was way off base. Makes a ton more sense though if Gaia somehow became the Dungeon or for some reason is stuck in it's depths, and Ouranos is there trying to protect and save her. In that context the monsters aren't evil, but they're like white blood cells fighting off foreign entities in the body, and Bell can both 'pick up' Gaia and not become an enemy of the Gods in the process.

Also dang these episodes were great! It was obvious siren girl was going to save and heal Bell, but the way they portrayed it was still horrifying, and I did expect either Mikoto or Haruhime to die, though I'm happy neither died. Also when it comes to back stories look forgot about option 3: recruitment. I don't think that backstory is a death flag, I think after this she's going to move on from the trauma of her lost familia, she'll have fallen for Bell by the end of this and join his har- er, familia.

Michael

Some monsters you must fight and from others you must flee. But beware of the Juggernaut lest you simply cease to be.

Matthew Harms

I am familiar with some Greek mythology so I like your theory. It matches what I was thinking as I watched this anime. Hope the show continues to impress.

Skuld

Sorry I'm late, but I MUST explain the situation with Cassandra, since she does NOT Deserve to be hated by ANYONE. She's an EXACT copy of the Cassandra in Greek Mythology. The story goes like this - The God Apollo initially was extremely attracted to Cassandra and gave her the power of Prophesy to impress her, but she refused all his advances, which pissed him off enough to curse her. The curse causes no one to ever believe her prophesies no matter how true they are. Though you might think - "why couldn't she tell people about her curse..? Wouldn't that clear things up?" That's the tragic part... She could tell them. She did try. But the curse wasn’t about silence — it was much worse: The curse made anything she said unbelievable, no matter how true or rational it was. So even if she said: “Apollo cursed me, and now no one believes me.” People would just think: “Sure, Cassandra. Another one of your dramatic ramblings. Go touch grass.” It's like if someone accurately predicted every disaster — and even gave a perfectly logical explanation why — but everyone around them was mentally incapable of believing them. They’d sound either crazy or paranoid, no matter how right they were. So Cassandra wasn't mute, wasn't magically gagged, and wasn’t forbidden from explaining the curse. She just faced total disbelief — about everything. Even her own suffering. Bonus sad fact: She warned the Trojans not to bring the Wooden Horse into Troy. Nobody listened. She warned them Troy would fall. Still no one listened. And she warned Agamemnon's death was coming when she was taken back to Greece. Guess what? No one listened. Cassandra’s myth is one of the most heartbreaking examples of knowing the truth and being powerless to change it — because truth without belief is as good as silence. So basically this Cassandra in this stage in Danmachi, has long given up on people believing her, but she still tries over and over again to get people to listen to her in hopes that one day, someone will finally listen and one day she'll finally be able to save someone. It makes it so much worse because she's one of the most kindhearted people in this anime, even more so than Bell the MC in several ways, but unlike Bell, she's utterly powerless to do anything to help no matter how much she wants to. No matter how strong she could ever get, no one would ever believe and trust her. Due to this, while partying with Bell and the rest of these guys, whenever something goes against the result of the prophesy she saw, she is just stunned beyond belief because no one has believed her for years without fail. Imagine if you spent almost your entire life telling people truths that would save their lives, over and over again - countless thousands upon thousands of times, only for them to ignore you and die in vain because of your curse, then one day you go traveling with a bunch of strangers who somehow manage to defy the fate that was set in stone over and over again in just a couple days and you don't have anything remotely close to a clue on how and why that happened, how would you react to that..?

Xhaxhu

What you said is largely true, but the original storyof how she got cursed is different. In the original story, Cassandra promised Apollo her "favors" in exchange for the gift of prophecy. However, after receiving the gift she reneged on her side of the bargain. Apollo was unable to take back the gift of prophecy that he had already bestowed, so he twisted it into a curse where she could see the future, but nobody would believe her.
