Ep 1 and 2 have been really solid, so I hope you do get to check it out! They have mentioned on Twitter they'll be doing something a bit unorthodox with the show, so there's a chance they don't do it well and this crashes and burns, but so far it's a lot of fun. Shame you don't feel like you can do it weekly, but if it's not financially viable to wait a couple hours then totally understandable, especially since you have to stream later in the day as well.

As donghuas (chinese animations) are finally getting some attention and recognition, its time to give a chance to other donghuas as well. Maybe just watching some OPs for starters. I recommend Wu shan Wu Xing (Fog Hill of Five Elements) and Da wang Rao Ming (Forgive me great lord). Both have really really awesome openings! First one is a really short series made by like 3 people (at least S1) with the greatest animation i've seen and has beautiful openings. S1 has 3 eps and S2 just 4, so if you want something short and HYPE i recommend wholeheartedly. Second is a more generic series, manhua is apparently better, but the OP is AWESOME with great music and animated by none other than Hiromatsu Shu, you would know him from small series like Chainsaw Man, Mushoku Tensei, JJK or Vivy, where he was the key animator, or directing the Fate Grand Order memorial PV and many more. Give those a chance please, you won't regret it

Also i think there is no problem with you reacting to it in the morning or similar. People don't want to watch the episode there, i think people mostly watch YOU watch the episode, thats the fun part.

Highly recommend watching this series. You can watch To Be Hero X without seeing the previous seasons of To Be Hero and To Be Heroine. Each season is stand-alone and not really connected other than sharing a universe and common themes

To be honest, I saw the first ep and was not blown away what-so-ever. I'd say below avg after all the hype people have been giving it here. I'm still going to keep watching it tho. It could be awesome later down the road. There are a 100+ other anime I'd rather Luke watch and I don't think I could follow a reaction to this. Just being honest! Don't come at me. For me it has been working marvelously And I thought the first episode was PEAK and that it could be hard to supass, but my man, the second episode turned the first one the BASE FLOOR for the show. And that short video was released over TWO YEARS AGO! And the opening music and sequence was also release 3 months ago, if you noticed the that it has at the official channel you will see how long ago it was posted, way ahead of the show's premiere And I gotta see: do react to it, NOW!!! Do as you did with Frieren, watch it when you can, post it at the weekend, it will be fine. You will still be in the "zeitgeist", where everything is still new for everyone. If you leave to react to it after it's conclusion, it may be too late, you won't be able to speculate together with us about "what the hell is going on?". I would watch it regardless, but if you start now, I think it will be better 🫡

Healing Magic is awesome. I already liked the manga, and was surprised when they announced the anime. But I don't think it is "OMG, must watch". And it is too sad that Rose's VA had passed away, last year, she was marvelous as the character 😢

To Be Hero is actually Chinese! (If ot wasn't obvious) This makes it a DONGHUA, not anime. However Aniplex also co-op animating it (the 2D part most likely), so anime is still a fine term in this specific case. But whenever it says BILIBILI it is chinese.

I'd really, really, really like to see this reacted to the following day. If I love a show, I WILL watch all of my reaction channel's videos about it. Am I the minority?!? I've watched a G.O.T. reaction 4, 5 days after an episode aired and I've seen 6 reactions already. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dang, I didn't realise To Be Hero X is now officially releasing episodes! I saw the PV ages ago when it first came out on Douyin (Chinese TikTok) and thought it was just a short showcase of someone's animation abilities lol But as someone who's Chinese, I'm glad to see more and more Chinese entertainment getting attention! Nezha is also a well-animated donghua. Though the second movie came out a few months ago, dunno if it's anywhere online.

I'm chinese so the it's literally in my first language! First ep is FIRE! I kinda want to see how westerners argue about this sub and dub issue. There's no way people want it in English dub.

It would be nice, but the reason many people arent reacting to the Mandarin version, is because it gets claimed on YT almost instantly, while the Japanese version has been mostly fine so far.

I doubt you will see this since this is an old video but the anime just finished this last Saturday and let me tell you it's a genuine masterpiece and I don't say that lightly. Its the best anime that's come out in the last 3 years
