The openings will change at different points of the story so it’s good to see the progression of the openings. I believe every season of jojo does this

Also, first opening already had a change, if you watch the last episode that has the first opening of this part, it added sfx. Same and/or similar things may happen here... You will 100% not regret seeing the opening at least for the last few episodes of this part.

It is far from useless, Luke. Boingo's book creates a moment of fixed future. It says what will happen no matter what you do, so you can choose how to approach it. And since it was guiding them to ways to defeat the main crew, the book probably works based on Boingo's desires and leads him to the future where he succeeds. But my headcanon is that it also robs him of all the luck since incredible unluck sounds like a suitable setback to otherwise godlike power to direct fate.

IDK why people are so adamant about the OPs especially if they're asking for every episode. I would say that you only need to watch them like the episode before they diverge and then the actual divergence just so you can understand why people are so hyped. For Stardust Crusaders/Season 2, this would be -Episode 46 (Normal Openining) -Episode 47 (Divergent) and if we're really pushing it, Episode 48, which is the last episode and continues JJBA's tradition of adding additional sound effects to the opening. Alternatively, you can watch the "What's in an Opening" series from the YT Channel Mother's Basement, where he covers the context of each opening and mentions the changes between the different versions.

I will watch the opening and ending of the first episode (or first and second if the first doesn't have an ending or using the opening as the ending) but after that I generally skip.

So the thing with Opeings is that they are made with the intention of watching them so what you said is usually the opposite, most anime openings don't actually spoil anything that happens in the story or if they do you usually only notice it after it already happened Most anime openings are made with this in mind and they create scenarios that never actually happen like with the Fate openings that showcase a lot of fights that we never see, or even create fake spoilers like the first Jujutsu Kaisen Opening When an opening actually has a heavy spoiler that people should avoid we as the fans are the ones that warn you about it, but these are actually really few exceptions and not the rule

I'm also right-handed but put my left thumb on top, which also means right pinky is on the bottom. Putting my fingers together the other way feels odd. Whichever way you do it is probably from a young age, and you get used to it that way, so the other way just feels wrong. I like to watch the openings for every episode of every anime. I only watch the endings if I'm watching a single episode or if I'm binging a series, I tend to skip the endings after seeing them once or save it for the end of my binge. Though in the case for this episode I had to watch the ending because of it being a special one. JoJo's also expects you to watch the openings as they tend to change slightly as the show progresses and you miss out on it when skipping them.

Ngl, this is one of my 2 favourite episodes of JJBA part 3 Part 3 works soooo much better when it's just silliness than when it tries to be serious with its 10000% stoicism-maxxing protagonist And let me tell you, the other of my favourite episodes of part 3 is yet to come! I fully believe that the quality spike between the 1st and 2nd half of part 3 is just as big as between Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency

It's less a foreshadowing here and more a cool callback when it happens in Part 6.

There's actually a ton of them in this specific OP where they directly reference scenes from the last stretch of episodes but if you don't already know what's coming you'd never be able to work that out until they make it more obvious later that this was what they were doing and by that time they've already happened.

The last 3 episodes of this season are ones you'll want to make sure you see the Openings for. People forget about the final episode being different because most write it off as just a version with extra SFX but certain sections of the visuals are also significantly changed in ways I personally think are super cool.
