Honestly, I think the one with the sound effects is just a downgrade anyway. Not really worth watching.

The stopping time part has no range, while it's active everything that exists is stopped (except Jotaro, because reasons?), however, The World itself does have a limited range that it can move away from DIO (about 10 meters), that combined with it's stricter time limit at the time is what made Kakyoin *think* The World's biggest limitation was it's range, when in it was in actuality the time limit stopping DIO from getting to them in time to do anything meaningful.

For any lingering questions about why jotaro and DIO have the same and or similar stands, we've seen close family member being shown to possess such a thing. The darby brothers, holly's stand awakening being shown as vines and of course Joseph himself. This trend will continue to be a thing in later parts

To explain how there's more story after Dio's defeat without spoiling anything, the next 3 parts are to a certain extent their own stories, but in the same timeline, and while it isn't the main story anymore, Dio's influence can still be felt at times. As far as part 4 is concerned, many consider it to be the best part that's been animated so far. Hopefully, Part 7 will change that. But for now... Onward to Part 4: Diamond Is Unbreakable!!!

Originally part 3 was supposed to be the end of JoJo. But since the series is selling well, they choose to continue it. That's why the reason this is feels like an ending of the series.

thats why i love about Araki that each part has a completely diferent story world character and sometimes even new power system. He is insanely creative and can reinvent the story so many times and still make it work

About it feeling like an ending, originally it was supposed to be. Part 3 was supposed to be the finale. However, unlike other series where they continued because of external pressures, the author of JoJo's decided to continue the series just because he enjoyed writing it so much, so there isn't any dip in quality past this point. In fact, some of the best parts in my opinion are still ahead of us.

I do recommend the ANTFISH Stardust Crusaders Abridged series from 15-odd years ago, titled JJBATAS, as it's based on the old OVA and is funny as heck. It's ten episodes long and is a complete abridged series well worth your attention

Dio doesn't actually hate the jostars, remember Jonathan was the only man he respects. Then with Joseph he needed his blood to complete the merge with Jonathan's body and with Jotaro he just has to kill him because he's the only threat to him and to flex his power a little lol

BTW stands get stronger under emotional heights like rage and desperation. Also it's canon that DIO could eventually stop time indefinitely with enough training.

# spoiler ahead I already saw that luke have seen this comment section and your comment is a spoiler btw. "dio's influence can still be felt" Imply there's no dio. But this is a spoiler because just like Orochimaru, you 'never know'... what if he keeps revive like a cockroach. So saying "without spoiling anything", you killed the whole theory that dio could even slightly be alive or be revived "from a tooth" like he said. Next time, do not "confirm" EVER the death of ANY character that is supposedly immortal, cuz you kill the idea of "maybe" a revive could happen. So your comment clearly is not spoiler-theory free. Luckily I saw all 6 seasons but I'd hate knowing there's no dio as I believed when I First watched it that maybe part4 or part5 i'll see dio again. I'm letting you know, confirming things = BAD.

btw in later jojo parts the opening will change multiple times so again for jojo the last 10 episodes watch the opening and if you forget it because your "used to skip" than just watch the opening on every jojo episode so your used to not skipping. Great reaction im looking forward to part 4 and 5

All of us thought it was a perfect ending because Araki (the Creator) was initially planning to end the series on part 3 but he continued because he just wanted to write more, he didn't want to be done with the series plus this was at the time where there was a drought of manga in shonen jump and the editors were trying to get a Araki to write even more to fill the magazine. And that's how we got the rest of JoJo's and thank God we did because if you liked part 3 then you're going to absolutely love the rest with steel ball run being the absolute peak of anime not just jojo's. I truly cannot wait for your part 4 reactions.

Oh no no no, he does not stop the entire planet, THE WORLD works on ALL CREATION ! Meaning, the entire universe is paused while the ability is in effect, those like Jotaro who have the same ability do however, feel it. Jotaro however only just awoke to it by being near Dio so he has not experienced it fully before now.

man i cant wait for part 4, its my favourite part (that and part 5 compete for first place for me), mainly because of the big bad of the part is amazing, but i also do love the supporting characters (and i love the cooking episode as an italian myself lol).

when dio reffered to range, he meant that they were too far to reach them even if he stopped time. so yes his stand literally stops time in the whole universe thats why its so op.

I think the fact that soul Joseph mentioned that Jotaro can move in stopped time, something he wouldn't know, would imply that it's some kind of hallucination, but who knows.

tbh if i were to summarize at least part 4-6 its basically a consequences for DIO being exist and the effect it has on some people or group because DIO awaken a stand

Its never explained fully in the show, but stand users can see stands, and stands are manifestations of the users soul. That's probably why stand users can see souls of people who die.

JoJo kinda works in trilogies so parts 1-3 have a story together and then 4-6 are losely connected and the same goes for 7-9
