I watched a Chinese movie long time ago about last eunuch. The protagonist is from poor family, and he had to became eunuch and got castrated at young age then enter the palace. The fascinating thing is every eunuch keeps their castrated organ in bamboo container with their name written. And then in special room they hang it with thread, its heights represent theirs rank position. The lowest position is not event got hang, it's just lay on the floor. The highest position placed in the highest almost hit the ceiling inside a shrine
