The translations are a bit off, so that’s why some of it confused you. Some the subbed lines here are taken from the dub, where they botched some stuff, such as Gasper’s name. His actual name is Gasper Vladi. By “destroyed God” they are talking about Jesus. Longinus is the man who stabbed Jesus on the cross

In Japan the bathrooms are often one big module that you have in the house and are technically separate from the rest of the house. Also I knew that US doesn't really do proper wet rooms, but I thought that UK would have been similar to Finland in that regard that the whole Bathroom that has a shower/bathtub is treated to be as "waterproof" as possible. After the shower you would squeegee the water to the drain so it won't leave residue or marks when it dries out.
