So has Luke had a turtle as a pet before, because otherwise I can't understand the hate on the suppun burger. They are farmed like any other animal for food making and the way she wanted to use all those parts would have damaged the freshness and taste if it was done beforehand. I personally don't even see it's butchering being too far from any other chef taking live fish or grabs from tank and prepping butchering them in the kitchen. Basically all of them are chefs in training there also so they would be learning and doing butchering to some capacity. I can only come to a conclusion that Luke has had a turtle as a pet or just otherwise can't stand seeing animals butchered even if using all the parts otherwise would not bother him.

I really hope he gets a better site for next stream. The subs are pretty bad. He could use a site like AnimeKai.to, their subs are pretty good and translate titles and background info. They can be customized as well if you switch to Soft Subs under the video player. They also have an option to skip openings and endings.

As with many terms in English, it became shortened to just "french fries", and usually also just as "fries" (relying on context to make sense of the word). And they were created in the US. Just as hamburgers were, not to mention pizza. Too many people don't understand that being in the style of a particular nation's cuisine doesn't mean it was developed in that nation. The US has immigrants from cultures across the world, and those immigrants have invented many culinary dishes here in the US in the style of the culture they came from.

What the bloody hell are you talking about ? What is called french fries in the US has 0 difference with the fries that appeared in France and Belgium. The other versions have different names. At least, hamburgers and pizzas have their "american versions". Even if, even in those case, it doesn't mean it was created in the US, just that a variation in style was invented in the US. Each variation of a dish isn't a new dish, unless it has a different name. Otherwise by your logic, every single country has invented every dish since it's always adapted to the locals in slight variations. Saying the US created those dishes is totally misleading. And clearly false regarding french fries.

Kind of dumb to have a reporter monitor everything you're doing when you know that this guy is somehow spying on you and everyone else. I'd assume either this reporter is a spy, or the room has cameras watching and listening in. Thankfully I'm a week behind so I'll instantly find out, but I'm hoping Soma sabotaged the recipe in some way so mr copy cat ends up being the one that gets predicted.

Look I get that the hate towards Hisako's cooking went up in chat because she just killed an animal in front of the audience and Luke stated his dislike for her, but do keep in mind that the food that anyone makes in this anime comes from real life, and flaming her food is also flaming that culture. I see a lot of comments hating on the bun, saying it's too white or whatever, it's literally a steamed bao bun. How many of the same people who shit on it will literally go to Japan and eat a nikuman and say it looks and tastes delicious? The bun is literally the same thing just that the filling isn't completely enclosed. I understand that maybe your adrenaline is rushing because you're watching a match, watching a livestream and other people are flaming her so you might feel the urge to join in, but do maybe take the time to think about what you're saying before offending multiple cultures in just a few words.

Man, sometimes it just surprises me how much of an airhead luke can be. He gets confused so often and so much over the smallest things. That make complete sense but somehow it goes right over his head. I don't know if he's not paying attention or something.
