i love how Luke most of the time didnt get the simpliest things but sometimes he turned into a genious and figure out the complex stuff that are going on and made a perfect prediction

I mean i don't think the time loop is pointless if Rohan didn't die, because their main way of finding Kira out is through Hayato, which they can't do as time will always reset. Lets say they skip Hayato and someone like Rohan went to use his ability directly on Kira isn't there a high likelihood Kira would use the same ability on Rohan and if someone found out time resets again. Meaning that he can most likely make it so there is no way for anybody to figure him out so the loop isn't pointless?

I never understood why they had the necessity to localize the name, Kira clearly says "Killer Queen" in typical japanese pronunciation so why the hell did they put "Deadly Queen" in the subtitles?

Luke figured the time loop as soon as he saw the information written on Hayato's mind, telling to Rohan himself that he written when he wrote 'do not read any further'. And that reading any further just disconnects the trigger for Killer Queen to blow up on the person that knows who the Stand User and/or the killer Kira is.

I very very much hope you watch the uncensored version of part 5. I can bear you saying "Reverb" and "Deadly Queen", but I don't think I'll be able to stomach part 5's horrible localisations. Also the uncensored version of part 5 is usually blu ray, which had a ton of touch-ups that make the whole part look a ton better. Also yes, Hayato was dead dead and Killer Queen's time loop ability brought him back to life

The dream of Kira is to live a nice, quiet life. So his stand reverses time to a point where no one except Hayato knows his identity. The person explodes because... well, it needs to incorporate bombs somehow. And it also serves to make any attempt at revealing his identity all that more traumatizing for Hayato.

When Kira awakened Bites the Dust it reset time back before Kira killed Hayato, who was allowed to live and escape the bathroom (basically everything played out the same until the point he grabbed Hayato with KQ, this time he didn't stop him and Hayato ran back to his room). During the next day when Kira revealed who he was, he placed the third bomb on Hayato who then went off and accidentally killed Rohan when he investigated him. Hayato reset but thought he'd just had a weird dream, but then over the course of the morning kept getting this feeling something was weird but couldn't quite place it. The day progressed as it did during the first loop, though because Rohan could read Hayato's memories of the first loop, it slightly altered what happened during the 2nd loop causing Hayato to kill Rohan at a different time than he did the first time, which caused the time loop to happen again. After experiencing 2 time loops, Hayato finally starts to realize he's in a time-loop with Kira confirming his suspicions.

Unless you happen to be talking about the first version I posted on accident (I forgot to hold shift) while i was drafting my thoughts. that one did have 2 spoilers in it, since I wanted to get all my thoughts down first and then edit it down to contain only information from this episode.

Dang Luke was on that timeloop theory fast. It was a little wrong but he got it pretty spot on what is going on with the pot breaking. Also funny how I just realized how Bites the Dust is kind of like WoU in Part 8.

remember that the stand abilities of whoever gets struck by the arrow are manifestation of their greatest desire. Kira wants to be left alone and not be found so bad it results all in this.

It couldn't have already happened or Hayato would remember it. The predictions are there because fate exists in this universe and Hayato is in the center of a time loop. I can't say too much without spoiling the next episode, but seeing the big difference between the two scenes shows that this must have been the first day.

hayato literally did remember it, at the start of the first loop we see, he said he had a weird dream, at the start of the second loop he said he KEEPS having the same weird dream meaning that it was the exact same dream meaning that he was in a loop before. and to answer why he didn't rerember in the first loop we see, its because the actual dreams/past memories are very hazy as even after another loop it took him a while to remember he was in a loop

not sure why you think this ability has no point. it means that no one can ever learn about kira, i won't spoil weather rohan is alive or not but even if he is, kiras ability worked and now in the new loop he doesn't know about kira, and if he finds out again, the same. the ability just makes it so kira can live a normal life without ever being found out

3:31 Kira explained on last episode inner monologue that he was going to explode the hair strand so it would seem like Hayato slipped and hit is head

The stand got pierced (You can literally see Killer Queen), and it got a new ability. Araki simply did not have the inner workings of the arrow fully laid down at the time most likely, he is known for just writing things based how it feels and testing ideias

Nope - Killer Queen getting pierced is an anime-only thing. In the manga, only Kira is pierced. Whether or not Bites the Dust is a requiem stand is up to viewer's interpretation, but the consensus among fans is that it's not a requiem stand

@Critical No, we never saw Day 1. This confuses a lot of people but the point is there was an entire loop we didn't see. That's why Hayato had future events written in him already. We are now on Day 3.

I think it would be easier for Luke if he sees the opening and the changed version back to back in a comparison video after part 4 ended instead of watching them before the episode :/ Cause last time Luke was assuming change happened in the opening when nothing changed for multiple episodes Same will happen in part 5 & part 6 and while the opening being changed is pretty cool, it does not really mean much if Luke needs to guess when the change happens while also still fully remembering the original version

what are you talking about Anacik? The ex-president explained it, the point is that kira is unaware of the loops and he lives care free. Rewinding time is not the ability he has, its rewinding time IF some finds out about him. If nobody does life goes on, and if someone does, he doesnt notice, cus for him life indeed goes on

One thing to remember about Hayato, is he might have started with maybe a normal wonder or obsession with new tech (surveillance cameras), but quickly saw a pretty much loveless marriage unfold before his eyes. If you remember two things about the Kosaku parents: 1. The wife started her part as a passive aggressive, mean spirited, unfulfilled housewife. 2. The husband was on his way to Salon Cinderalla or inside it going through Aya's procedure when Kira came in handless and 150% full psycho mode. So sad. because it means this, "bore" was actually trying to be a better husband and i.e. better father. Because Hayato even with Jojo IQ is still a kid. And he really saw it all, which is why he immediately noticed when Kira was doing weird things in the house even before he spied on him.

I believe as a smart and nosy kid, he wanted to monitor and understand his parents even if he couldn't fix them. Like really, he doesn't need cameras. He's an archetypical fav of Araki-san which is, kid who is prodigy and pays real, full attention to his surroundings to learn in an almost superhuman way, "reading people" so to speak rather than having real outside experience and naivety. Like what he said sounds bad when you say it out of context but what else does he say after that, literally in subtitles, "Am I the child of a loving couple?" sounding pretty sure of the contrary. So yeah Hayato was as much to blames as maybe .1% compared to the parents who raised him, and splitting the other two (mostly shinobu though honest, like wth is wrong with her sometimes.)

Hayato is the "weird kid". That's undeniably. Yet, he's just a kid. He's clearly depressed from the start. Probably genetically and more importantly because of how intelligent he is. "Am i a kid from loving parents after all?" He says when he sees his parents on the bedroom. He was intelligent enough to know from the start that his parents didn't love each other. His parent never cared that much and his mother is also very.. not a mother at heart. I feel. I would never "defend" that he wasn't a weird kid and that spying on your family by isn't messed up. But again, he's a child. A very intelligent child with a dysfunctional family and in my eyes, clinically depressed.
