Rest more and get well soon, Luke. Also, shameless recommendation for Macross Frontier and Symphogear for the next Patreon show.

that Goku character was Sun Wukong ("Goku" is his name pronounced in japanese) from the classic piece of literature called Journey To The West. The reason he's so strong is probably because, in that original novel, he's quadruple immortal, obscenely powerful in his own right, and has also reached Nirvana (buddistic enlightenment) which is essentially godhood (those who have reached Nirvana are supposedly one with the entire universe). The Goku from Dragonball is based on that very character, funny enough.

Vote Monogatari for next Patreon exclusive

Remember Azazel saying he got reinforcements? That's the original Sun Wukong. Also, Ravel is the little sister of Riser. You know, the blonde guy who wanted to marry Rias. Ravel is the blonde drill haired girl who talked to Issei on the underworld party and showed interest in him, saying she was free for the taking. Azazel mentioned trouble for all the girls because she probably transferred to the school to get closer to Issei. And the story is not that confusing. It's just that you are so lost in the story that you are mixing things up and not getting anything. Season 3 is the main cause for that, since they fucked up the story real bad. Within the Khaos Brigade there are now 3 factions: Old Satan, which are descendants of the original kings and want a coup d'etat, Ophis team (Vali team) which want to fight Great Read and now there's the Hero team, which are human descendants of Great Heroes with Sacred Gears and want to see how far they can go without turning into devils creating caos everywhere.

I highly recommend The Monogatari Series for the next Patreon exclusive. Also, the reason you are confused about so much this season is because you skipped S4E0 which is essentially the first episode of the season and serves as the bridge that explains some of the many changes made from S3 to S4.

I'll be selfish and pitch macross delta again. The ending of the first episode into episode 2 still sticks with me -= just scifi anime heaven! also maybe K-ON someday if that has copyright issues that would be better suited to patreon. Super cute sudo-idol girl anime, more actually just band anime i guess but still fun.

This was definitely a better episode. though i do agree that the punch stop to talk punch again, stop to talk is a bit draining. you're supposed to just beat the crap out of the enemy and monologue before and after the fight. Victory speech anyone? Or what about the great build ups to the battle like the rohan king does in Return of the King with the riders of rohan - onwards to battle!!!!!!

NK

They skipped a lot of it in previous seasons but Draig took a lot of “emotional damage” from his bearer gaining power from boobs since he has a lot of pride in his strength and position. He cried a lot about it previously (though the anime barely covered it in seasons 1-3). That’s why he’s crying now.

Thinking about it now, To Your Eternity's new season just started, so it would be cool to continue it here as well

The 1st episode wasn't bad considering how much I dislike d the 2nd season.

I vote Symphogear next, failing that Zombieland Saga, I basically want music anime next.

Covthly

Grand Blue next

Yeah, I think it's new dynamic can be surprisingly satisfying. Or at least, I hope so
