Neither did I, but season 3 is okay. I watch him watch season 1 and 2. I think 3 may be better than 2 imo

This sucks. i really enjoyed season 4 and you reactions to dxd so far but watching you whine about the story while not paying any attention is just not entertaining. At the start of this season you were complaining about season 3 being to serious and now your complaining that its not serious enough. And for someone that "doesn't care about animation" you bring it up calling it trash every reaction. As for the fights having "no stakes", you could say the same about jojo's or most other anime but for some reason these complaints only come up when watching dxd.

Sadly I feel the same, almost to the point I feel like he should drop it. While DxD isn't the best with how it's anime has handled the story, especially with the anime having big chunks of cut content with the poor handling of S3, I feel like a good chunk of Luke's frustration now was told in the earlier seasons. People tried to add context in some of those reactions because he missed them in the episodes and its coming to a head now because he doesn't know by the time he recorded these or just hasn't seen them. S4 also had the job of trying to fill in some of those missing pieces while still continuing the story and its episodic writing is pretty bad as a result. E0 is a big part of some of that context which he skipped. Overall guess he just finishes S4 and shelve it for the next reaction lol.

i understand the sentiment but haven't we all been there? Trudging through a show we're mad at? Or really annoyed with a particular character but just love the rest of it so we tag along for the ride? I can commiserate and actually following along with the criticisms is pretty informative. you can't always verbalize a complaint but he's doing that scene for scene.

The problem with Issei and Rias is this really annoying trend of a brain dead MC that can never pick that a girl or multiple girls like him for whatever reason. They use this stupid self insert excuse for loser characters like this as a excuse and i am where is a a moron like this on earth? Then there is Rias which is the copy and paste basic heroine in majority of shows like can never just open their mouth and fully say what they want. Just tell him to call you only by your name because you feel like you are less close to than others because of it. Nooo let try and make him read my mind and feelings {which he can but has not done} so he can understand. These authors/ studios like throwing these pointless boring drama points in soo many animes that i have started genuinely hating and just skip over them every time now. Lastly lets dog pile this guy who has either done nothing wrong or has one screw up one time but instead of helping him so he do better let us all just shit on him because fuck him all friendship and love interest is out the window like he just slapped someones child
