I am not going to pretend that I am a Taylor Swift fan. Her music doesn’t do it for me. I don’t dislike her & I still can appreciate her artistry for what it is. That being said, she didn’t deserve to be disrespected that way. That was the moment I stopped liking Kanye & he’s gotten worse over the years. Beyonce made me love her even more ( if that’s possible) allowing Taylor to have her moment. I think this was the beginning of their friendship & respect for one another. To this day they are supportive of each other.

The people who are nominated for the “big” awards usually perform their songs if they can. Many are on tour & can’t make it…but those who can, usually do. Taylor was dating Taylor Lautner at this time & he was right behind her when this happened hence her lyrics in Back to December “ you held me tight the fist time I cried”, or something like that. Beyoncé has always been a girls girl! She has mentored so many.
