There’s two more versions of this song that was used for the actual anime tv broadcast, one with the JP half singing with the singer of the first One Piece ending, and the other half singing with the original singer of this song, We Are, and USS!

One piece is a great story and has great animation, but it isn't my favorite. The only thing I knock it for it the sound direction. You'll see these majestic visuals with sound effects and music that sounds super old and dated. It just doesn't match. Otherwise, it's quite good but super long and bad pacing.

That clip you saw from One Piece is all about Fishman Island arc (episodes and opening) but it's a remake and all that arc is cut down on less episodes, making it more fun to watch than the 'far too stretched' OG one.

I wouldn't really call it divide in One Piece's case. It's more a case of a VERY vocal minority and having a dedicated "hate community", as some people call it. Most anime have something you could call an anti-community, hating something for no real reason. Much like you saw it with Demon Slayer. But One Piece has probably the most dedicated and most loud one. While One Piece deserves some of the criticism it usually gets, some just hate it for being popular, even though they never watched it. And some people just hate it for being one of the big three. So the old rivalry between Naruto, Bleach and One Piece fans which some people just take to far. I do think though, that this rivalry is mostly gone by since Naruto and the original Bleach anime ended. I see it less and less at least. Honestly though? If One Piece wasn't good and popular, it wouldn't be this successful. The numbers are speaking for themselves.

I like the Fisherman Island remake opening. But isn't this video full of huge spoilers? 😅 It's pretty much made from clips of the actual arc. Maybe it's good Luke hasn't started One Piece yet, so it will take a good while until he reaches this point. So he wont remember anything later.

I need to say im not a big fan of the gachiakuta opening by mori. The refrain is nice but i dont like the other parts where she is talking or trying to sing in a deeper voice. To me the deeper voice parts feel kind of forced and not really good.

There's also a part of the One Piece haters due to the pacing. Most anime are 3:1 for the chapter to episode ratio, but there's a long time in One Piece where it's ratio is .5:1, and sometimes even lower than that. That's the entire reason 'Onepace' exists. They're doing better with pacing now, but they're still just proudly at 1:1, which is still slow pacing by anime standards. A lot of anime-only's hate one piece because of its pacing issues.
