Fullfire

Rust scuba sounds is crazy

PiratePawsLive

A question for Luke or the editor. I was wondering for years now about why you remove the image when pausing? Especially when saying what is x or y, or look at x, pause and the image is removed. We can't see your screen. I guess its for copyright?

2026-09-07 01:00 No hate to the animation team, it is hate to the corporation that give them no time and funds. Like Bandai Namco, they expected this to be done with just 1 member from JC Staff that only worked on slice of live and the rest is outsourced to China or Korea. It is the big wigs that dislike for their greed.

2026-09-07 01:00 You should just drop this garbage season 3 of one punch man and pick up and watch MAY I ASK FOR ONE FINAL THING its about a silver haired princess who uses her magic abilities to go around and beat the crap out of bad people and corrupt nobles. Its 100% better than one frame man

Do you ever thought maybe Luke LIKES opm and WANTS to watch it? lol

Sinbad_Deity

And your brain has less cells

Kitsune

It's just getting the same reaction as any other visually stunning mangas that's not getting the adaptation it deserves, like Berserk and Junji Ito's works.

Roli D. Great

Garou: One Slide Man. There you go, I criticized with respect xD

Andre154

One punch man's animation quality is well below any slice of life anime out there, adding to the fact that it is an action anime. It is appalling to not see that

Roli D. Great

Also something you need to get rid of the fruit flies you mentioned is a bat. Bats love to eat fruit flies and mosquitos.

Daniel V

Then you can walk yourself out.The door is wide open for you.

Luke I highly recommend reacting to the new anime anthology series "tatsuki fujimoto 17-26". Its an anime based on eight one-shot stories drawn by the creator of Chainsaw Man so the stories are great and the adaptation by the studios is phenomenal (animation, ost, everything). Because its an anthology you could just react to the first episode "A Couple Clucking Chickens Were Still Kickin' in the Schoolyard" (the best one imo) and it will blow your mind how much peak can be packed into 20 minutes

Sai Pavan

I'm assuming it's about copyrights. You can never be more careful with these things lately.

Touch grass

Shadow 55

The hot pot scene felt really weird to me. I didn’t watch the episode. Came right here because I was busy lol. But the music was all over the place, playing saitama’s lonely music then an upbeat, funky one. And just lip flaps. It just felt soulless tbh.

Shadow 55

Garou’s whole thing is that he’s getting stronger and stronger. You can see that in season 2. Keep an eye on that lol

Savingstumps

29:40 His name is exactly as you think it is lol.

ClerZz IMO

Some people learn the story of a medium through animation? Also, stop hating.

Animeter

But tbh, the adaptation is one of the worst things I ever experienced, since I started watching anime in 1998.

Animeter

The manga is in a completely other dimension. It's a shame to see OPM treated that way. :(

Orieng

I agree its bad, but i could easily name 10 shows with worse animetion. The problem comes down to its One Punch Man with bad animetion :) If it was a random Isekai or Romcom you would not care :)

Barack O. Llama

as the only person that enjoys the new season im pretty hyped for todays episode, especially since the teaser shots got released

Barack O. Llama

i like how they explained how saitama got his powers and luke instantly says "is there more to just doing press ups and sit ups". i love you luke but you have the attention span of a walnut

L.C.

One frame man. Yipeeeee

Virax

Episode 4 problem is that they barelly animated anything if you look at the manga they basically copied the frames in it and put in the video, aside from very few occasions, and I should mention that the way they copied is lowering a lot of the detail of the manga frames

33:14 - 33:29. Here is a list of shows (shounen) with better animation than one punch man and are airing this season: Isekai Quartet season 3 My Hero Academia Final Season To your eternity season 3 The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest Spy x Family Season 3 Let This Grieving Soul Retire season 2 A Wild Last Boss Appeared! My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I'm Out for Revenge! Dusk Beyond the End of the World Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! Ninja vs. Gokudo Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Season 2 A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's Tales of Wedding Rings Season 2 If any of these studios would've done one punch man we would have minimum +25% better animation - 'A gatherer's adventure in isekai' is weakest anime in that list and yet its animation is better by 25%, - My hero academia final season has better animation than JJK S2, so that would be +1000% better animation, - The "lv9999 anime" that one has +150% better animation when compared to OPM, - My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's has +200% better animation The difference in those shows in that list is that those shows have a story and one punch man half its identity is animation and half is comedy. The comedy is still there, the animation is not. All is left is for us to make a meme out of s3 and have a good laugh when looking back. Cannot wait 2030 OPM S3 fan remake with A.I and it would be better with $0 budget. I 100% blame the guys at top and not the animators. Studio is same as s2 . Make no sense, therefore I blame poor management by those who own the IP.

Ty L

I enjoyed many series with mediocre animation, so that aside, One Punch man S3 had a really slow start for me and perhaps some uneventful sections could have been edited out or better paced. Recent episodes are moving the story along so getting better, if it turns into a tournament arc, then lets see if they can take this chance to develop the side characters and make things interesting. Minor comment on the animation and pace, there seems to be alot of still shots and some scenes just drag too much which makes things look worse.

TheKnightwatchOfficial

My biggest critique of OPM S3 is it feels exactly like OPM S1 and 2. I'm enjoying it but I've seen other anime I enjoy more. S3 isn't bad but just like S1 and S2, it's fine. You can try a Venus flytrap. Not perfect, but they do eat bugs.

Toukbird

It’s essentially the overreaction to overhype. People hold OPM to a ridiculously high standard because the first season pushed the standards so high. I see it getting scored in the mid-4s on MyAnimeList and I do think that is grossly underrating it. A 4s type show should be saved for things like Mars of Destruction. I’d probably rate this season about a 6…which is still pretty bad by OPM standards, but it’s not insultingly bad.
