I know it's cheesy, but I love when a musical show does a song where a lot of characters build the song together as more and more join it to finish with a choir. There's something mesmerizing about so many voices singing in harmony, and when it's done right like in this episode, it gives me chills everywhere. Season 2 was definitely not a let down, and was perfectly built on the consequences of last season's events. Viv keeps cooking with her shows, and I'm all for it.

season 3 and 4 already confirmed, with 3 almost done, and 4 is already far into getting all voices recorded. same wait from 2 to 3 like 1 to 2, but apparently 4 will be much faster at coming out. im hoping that everything comes together for them, because this is a great show.

Luke! They have announced that Characters from Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are gonna crossover some time. We don't know how often or in which show, but either way, I'd recommend checking out Helluva Boss. Maybe as a patreon exclusive. It has two seasons so far with a third releasing on amazon soonish and I think there's a fourth one planned.

Helluva Boss is exploring other circles of hell we don't get to see in Hazbin Hotel without sinners but hellborn demons. Some of which could turn out important for Hazbin Hotel later down the line. In fact, the robot Valentino was using in his fight is a product we already knew from Helluva Boss. So I'd really recommend checking out the show.

I think Vox was in fact stronger during his fight with Alastor, but Alastor was more skilled, giving him the upper hand regarless. And all that with his staff still broken. He didn't even transform into his giant form we saw a couple times in season 1 which is probably the same kind of "full power"-form Vox took when he become almost spider-like. This form is probably tied to his staff, given that he didn't use it, meaning that right now, with his staff fixed, Alastor is undeniably the strongest sinner in hell.

Wasn't Abel, Eve and Adams son and Kain Eve and Lucifer/Samael or am I mixing Jewish and Christian stories? It's hard to keep things separate sometimes, I love to read religious and folklore books so sometimes things meld together.

Such a good series, very enjoyable. Regarding Lilith i assume she is under some kind of contract that stops her from contacting charlie. Loved Vox as a villain and Allastor is such a good self serving character. I am also interested to how the other sinners like angel died to end up with these bodies. With Hazbin S2 being done maybe we could give Helluva Boss a try again?

2026-09-07 01:00 As an Angel fan, I hope he suffers more. Give me all the misery and suffering! I love it when my favorite characters go through stuff. Do the same with Alastor and Luci, too. I need these old men to suffer.

The Samael interpretation is from Jewish/Gnostic traditions. The Christian version is that Cain and Abel are both Adam and Eve's kids, and Hazbin seems to go with that version based on Abel's lyrics: "Dear Dad, tell me what you would've done. Too bad that I'm not your braver son."

Since Vox is an actual sinner just like our pal Al if Charlie says Vox is the strongest then Al will get powered up by his original deal to the point where he's stronger than not just Vox but also Charlie. Also I have to say, I really prefer the songs in season 1, not a fan of how broadway musical like this season is.

So the thing's like this. It's all down to wordplay. Rosie's deal with Alastor was that he's the strongest sinner, but if someone else with influence like say Charlie claims Vox is the strongest that invalidates Rosie's deal and that's how he broke that chain. Now it seems that saying it also makes it true since people will believe it and a sinner demon like Vox who is the personification of media will get the appropriate power boost. In my own personal opinion though I still believe Alastor is the strongest sinner. And regarding Hell Hierarchy it goes like this in terms of status and power: Lucifer Charlie & Lilith The Seven Deadly Sins The Ars Goetia Overlords (Any demon that deals in souls is an Overlord. Mostly made of sinner demons (Alastor and Vox) as well as some Hellborns (presumably Rosie but it is unconfirmed) Sinner Demons The Hellborn (If Charlie were a normal hellborn she would be here) Imps & Hellhounds.

Personally I really loved Hazbin but Helluva Boss didn't hit the same. The songs aren't nearly as good and the characters and premise didn't really do it for me. The romance in season 2 was good and it has some cool fight scenes but otherwise I think it's a lot weaker as a story. Hazbin just has a heart and charm that is hard to match.
