basically if anyone ever tries to harm giorno his stand won’t allow it. king crimson is fated to kill giorno but Golden experience requiem will prevent the universe from ever arriving at that outcome

ZabluLobsta

there is still another version of the opening, just in case

Hiruman

"What is actually happening?" Only Gold Experience Requiem know the answer

AchmodinIVSWE

Honestly, you have been cooking so hard with your analysis of the stand abilities in this part.

Vlad Lynko

"Jesus is here?" No, no, not yet

Giorno Giovanna

So what you just witnessed is called return to zero and essentially what it does is: any hostile action taken against Giorno is being reset to its starting point but at the same time the motives of the person acting against Giorno are being reset. The thing that makes this stand the strongest in the first six parts at least is the fact that it doesn't need time to activate return to zero. Unlike Diavolo who is bound to the flow of time and needs to consciously activate time skip gold experience Requiem is above time itself (sort of) it activates automatically making Giorno unkillable.

TOMfoolery

If you want an explanation for the abilities of Gold Experience Requiem (GER), which is never outright given to us in the show itself, let me explain it to you: -it has all of the abilities of Gold Experience but powered up (which we saw in it being able to imbue the pebble that went through Diavolos Hand with life energy, without the pebble coming to life but instead giving life to the debris the pebble caused) -its base stats like speed and strength are also powered up like crazy, likely exceeding even Star Platinum according to the stand stats (it's the only stand that has all stats listed as "none". No other stand has any of it's stats as "none" and most range from E to A with rare exceptions like Notorious B.I.G (the zombie flesh thing on the plane) with "infinite"). I imagine "none" meaning either "immeasurable" or just "beyond the scale" -its new ability is that it can automatically return the abilities and actions of anyone attacking Giorno to "zero". In other words, it can undo anything that could harm Giorno. In this case, it lead to the skipped time of King Crimson being reversed to right before Diavolo activated the ability. This new ability regularly has Giorno being there when people discuss overpowered anime characters. You cannot really harm him, at least not in a direct confrontation unless you got realiy breaking hax that are somehow stronger than "return to zero".

Pyzlnar

Gold Experience Requiem has an ability that goes one step above time manipulation. In essence it can bend fate, and prevent a future in which Giorno gets hurt. No matter what abilities or powers you have, if you're facing Giorno, Gold Experience just says "No" and it never happens. At this point Im guessing just another fate manipulating stand would be able to get close to be a contest lol

What Diavolo sees is Fated to happen, Diavolo uses king crimson to skip ahead to the fated outcome he sees. But Golden Experience Requiem's ability is to stop other from reaching their fate, so the time skip was nullified and Diavolo was just standing there confused.

Zackary Romblad

The part where Luke was repeating, "I don't get it." Is one of my favorite parts of the episode, so I'll explain. Diavolo used "Eulogy" to see the arrow falling from Giorno's hand, so he ASSUMED he, Diavolo, was gonna win. And from there started talking mad shit about being a king, when he really knew nothing about the arrow, before Giorno+GER aura farmed and whooped the hell out of him. I mean by looks, it seemed like the arrow didn't take or something bad happened, but in reality it was always meant for Giorno at the end. What's a king to a god?

Vlad Lynko

About requiem abilities. In general All purpose of any requem abilities is achieving the goal in very weird op way For example. Pornaleff goal was to protect arrow frow anyone (bec he didn't know who is with boss and who us against him to the end), so his ability is protecting - control of stands, body swaps, tricky way to understand how defeat it). Giorgio goal while using arrow was to defeat boss. So what way to defeat man who can jump to the future? Loop him in position, where he almost in that future, but not And if we will add Kira Yosukage, he just wanted all who knows about his secret - die, so he looped boy in position, where every one of JoJo squad was dead in some point Basically, you gain new ability, very op, but very specific to your goal. For example. U use arrow on your stand while u want pizza. U a welcome, your stand creates unlimited amounts of pizza, but every time somebody dies with horrible death. Or, u want to be famous. U a welcome, your profile now the most important thing un the world. But any other selebrities are now looks like you too, so anyone else can be more famous

Zackary Romblad

Also, just wanted to say the comparison to Dio and Jotaro is fair, but Giorno's Golden Experience got an upgrade that is known by the community to be pretty OP even by comparison to them. It's a Stand Negation ability, so any powers of a Stand that could kill Giorno are "Returned to Zero" and the truth of them winning a stand fight against Giorno? Well that's not GER's truth! As long as its in range (YES RANGE! I believe that is people's excuse for why it's not the absolute best compared to some later ones) it can just say nope, fight me. That's what happened after Boss' time skip failed. In a fist fight, it may be weaker than World/Star Platinum, but that's my own belief. Boss was talking about his "invincible" King Crimson, but in reality GER may be, actually... [TITLE CARD]

Kitsune

How I understood it was like GE Requiem deletes the 'cause' from cause and effect.

Canelas

Perhaps someone swapped souls with Luke's body

LuciusArtoriusCastus

"King of kings... Jesus is here?" funnily enough... Dio means God in italian, and Diavolo means devil, since Giorno is the son of Dio, part 5 can be summed up as the son of God fights the Devil.... Also, I'd like to point out Bucciaratis speech abt being reborn when he met Giorno, like the people who believe in Jesus are said to be "born again".

shiro kun

will there be a reaction to the steel ball run trailer?

Requiems ability is pretty much just saying no to anything you try to do against it, and making it so it never happened.

IAintSubbin

im gonna fully explain Gold Experience Requiem next episode

Magic Fibre

GER's ability is simply to prevent stuff from happening. For example, if you wanted to get up from your chair and GER decided against it, you would not be able to get up. Even if you already started getting up, it would undo that and sit you back down. You would also not be able to try getting up again - you'd be stuck in the chair. Rather than a "reset button", it's better to think of it as the "skip turn" card from uno, that you can use even during the opponent's turn. It is by far the most busted ability we've seen so far. It's so powerful, that if every single JJBA character from parts 1-5 all teamed up and attacked Giorno at once, they would stand zero chance against GER

Magic Fibre

The limit of Diavolo's ability was confirmed a while back - right around the time Abbacchio died - the limit for both his Epitaph and for King Crimson is ten-odd seconds.

DecoyBlackMage

Doppio was thrown into what was basically a corpse, he very much died when the others left him lying there leaving Doppio to die cold and alone, a very deserved fate for someone so bound to the boss and willing to do anything they asked of him, to an extent Doppio and Diavolo are twin souls in one body, and even though Doppio was the only person Diavolo claimed to trust and care for, he threw him away easily, and Diavolo was so paranoid of others knowing who and what he is that he even actively seems to have been altering what Doppio knew or even remembers.

DecoyBlackMage

But yeah, Doppio was never innocent, or the good side really, in general they are both monsters, just one soul was dominant over the other.

charlymoon

Requiem is saying that it doesn't matter if the boss sees Giorno's death, neither him nor anyone else will ever be able to reach that future

JammySplosha

Gold Experience Requiem, Return to Zero: nullifys all actions and willpower of an opponent to its "zero state", if you wanted to punch requiem, that would require you wanting to punch it, which is your will to do so, requiem nullifys that will for you to want to do that, making it so you never even attmped to throw the punch in the first place. as you saw in this episode, this bypasses all sorts of haxs like time erasure, as its manipulating your very souls willpower from the beggining to never attack requiem. you CANNOT fight it, you will never even throw a punch its way, let alone use an attack that has the willpower to want to harm it. this, is Requiem.

Rem is best waifu

I would consider Golden Experience Requiem the most powerful stand bc it brings everything back to the state of zero. It even would beat some villains in future parts.

Saiful Saiful

Luke why don't you check mob show new update about anime quiz explained by Google it's going to be so funny

Jonah Vianello

i think the next ep has the last change to the opening luke, please watch it!

Dor Daniel Sade

Luke did you see they announced Part 7 to start releasing on March??

Hiruman

There are two stands stronger than GER, sadly it's not canon

Moshi

Welcome, the strongest stand in existence! GER! And GER would absolutely destroy both DIO and Jotaro in their prime!

Rem is best waifu

Luke is going to be gone for the next week so whatever he in putting out for the nest week is already recorded. He has probably started Part 6 already

Magic Fibre

You could pit thousand Jotaros and thousand DIOs against one Giorno and they would still stand zero chance against GER 😆 In fact, across all anime Luke watched so far, there's probably only few characters that stand any chance againt GER (at least their currently-adapted selves, not counting their end-of-story versions)

Samuele Di Fazio

it really depends on the interpretation you gave to GER, the explanation of his power is a little vague, i agree on the popular one wich means is one of the strongest power ever, but for example if it only counters the time stop i think Dio and Jotaro could make it sweat in a 1v1

Oscar Medina

No what Requiem basically said was that there is no availability that can ever touch Giorno while it is active.

Juho Kaartoaho

There is one more change similar to this episode.

Thomas M

I think Giorno could kill them relatively quickly after healing them, but since cells are replaced on a regular basis, eventually dismissing the healing effect would no longer damage them.

Nguyễn Việt Hoàng

More like the strongest 1v1 stand, he literally dead when Pucci did the thing, well you know

Stefan Jipa

All hail to Bucciarati! Muda muda requiem time! Poor Diavolo😂 It’s crazy that Giorno has this ability and he doesn’t know it…

James Palmer

I think you're very much mistaken when you say that Star Platinum and The World were more powerful.
