Idk if you catched this but giorno's pose in the opening is the same one as DIO in the picture of part 3

Merry Christmas 🎄🎁

AchmodinIVSWE

I love the riff in the opening when GER resets the time skip.

Roli D. Great

That's what you call karma on Diavolo, when he comes out of the water he is stabbed by a thug under the influence of drugs...Diavolo promoted drugs. Karma is a bit*h :D

Giorno Giovanna

So this is the second ability of gold experience requiem "infinite death loop"and it's pretty self-explanatory. The person affected by the ability is simply unable to reach the realization of their death and they keep experiencing different death scenarios that reset the moment before they come to fruition thus imprisoning the person to an infinite and unending cycle of impending doom with no escape making it possibly the worst punishment in fiction and giving Giorno an infinite kill count.

Now that you’re finishing up part 5 I gotta recommend you react to Viva Reverie on YouTube’s Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure But Really Really Fast series. They’re incredibly short, condensed animated versions of the plot. Very very funny, and she only has parts 1-5 made so far so after you finish part 5 you’re in the perfect spot to react to these silly videos. I’ve been loving watching your reaction so far and getting to rewatch this whole show with you has been a blast so thank you and have a very merry Christmas!!!

Luke killed Diavlo! (actually canon, not joking... Luke killed him)

OtakuDeNoche

Just a reminder that this JoJo part took place in 2001(the anime makes no mention of this) and the next part(part 6) takes place in 2011.

Barack O. Llama

i love these last 2 episodes, very random but I like how it ties in at the end of the finale

Lord Nawias

There's a few OVA episodes called Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan based around stories around Rohans outside of Part 4, they're not really canon and you can watch them whenever, after part 5, or maybe between part 6 and 7, they're just 4 episodes but pretty interesting to watch

jwitn

though if you consider how it resets right before death, it also technically does not add to Giorno's kill count since diavolo never truly dies

Merry Christmas !!!

As far as I understand it, Gold experience Requiem has the inverse ability to King Crimson but I am completely unable to explain what that means

Ceeneon

Merry Christmas Luke! I hope you and your family has a great one! Also asking that you react to "[JoJo] All Modern Crusaders ending versions" alongside the part 5 finale. Great song and I just love the simplicity of how they changed the ending over the episodes.

GER has the ability of negating the law of causality, that is, it can erase the relation between cause and effect. If Diavolo skipping time kept the effect while changing or deleting the cause (Aerosmith's bullets phasing through him, Bucciarati seeing himself behind a pillar, Narancia in Giorno's body suddenly being impaled on a grate, etc.), GER instead completely denies the effects. In short, its ability is just "No."

Where is the Naruto stream Gang?

Bennie

the best way to describe it is as an exact opposition to king crimsons ability. King crimson's ability skips the journey and goes straight to the destination, only letting diavolo experience the journey. GER disallows anyone to experience the ending, aka the cause of an action. Meaning, while king crimson can be explained as skipping forward in a video, GER is like skipping backwards in a video, which explains why diavolo is trapped in the deathloop. It's because GER continiously negates the conclusion of death, and keeps going back to a moment before the death. It ALSO explains the scene last episode where everything reversed while inside King Crimson's time skip.

Bennie

I feel like that's a somewhat complicated way of describing it. It's easier to just say that it's skipping back in time by denying casuality.

Bennie

god jul!

Bennie

It might be an unpopular opinion, but I totally agree. I understand it can feel a bit disconnected to the rest of the series at first glance, but once you understand why the episodes are placed as they are, it's very satisfying to see.

Bennie

I am surprised at how well you understood the powers of GER in the episode! Your talk about how diavolo can "never reach the truth, never reach the end, and therefor never truly die" is RIGHT on the money! And that's what GER's powers are; taking away the ability to reach the conclusion.

Bennie

the importance of the last two episodes will be clearer near the end. But I'm sure a lot of us commenters will explain anyway after the episodes

Kitsune

what you just described about the alien conversation is why I highly recommend you to check out the anime Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26!!! same author of chainsaw man

Koga Wolfe

Around the time they were heading back to the coliseum I was thinking about the episodes with the strange stone and wondering why we hadn't seen it yet or thinking i somehow misremembered it. Completely forgot it came at the end like this.

The thing about what meat we eat traditionally is actually even simpler. Its about what animal can be domesticared and raised easily. You can feed your cow with grass, your chicken with bird feed and your pig with pretty much anything. And it is not dangerous to have them around. (actually it kinda is, a surprising amount of our worst diseases originated from living close to animals in unhygienic circumstances. But that's another story) Imagine the trouble you would have to go through to keep a pack of wolves as food source. What we traditionally eat is what our ancestors were able to domesticate and keep alive easily as a food source. Case in point: Rabbits. Quite cute, and yet they were a normal food source not more than 2-3 generations ago.

And about human meat: Some cannibals have commented on it over the years and apparently its pretty close to pork. So if you want to believe their "expert opinions" it probably isn't bad at all.

Great deduction from Mista regarding food… Nice touch that Bucciarati asked that guy if he wants to be involved with them and also that he didn’t take the money right way and not kicked out his men Strange brick…
