LFG Luke - I love the reaction. I did want to say that it is normal to struggle with how we were raised to be and how we want to be now. I am trying to say that while it may feel weird sometimes being so open, honest and emotionally raw, this is how you choose to be currently. Humans tend to try to go back to homeostasis (what we are used to) You were taught that showing emotion is a sign of weakness and it makes sense that sometimes you wonder if being so emotional is too much. Our brains lie to us. You are doing great! Happy Christmas!

Oh boy...wasn't expecting this, sitting on the back patio bawling my eyes out at the end of this episode, and the middle of it, and the beginning of it. I adored my Gramma, the most beautiful face and soul I've ever met. It's been 22 years, I still miss her every day. In 2020 on Christmas night Pat, my 4 yrs younger brother showed up after a year of being MIA, he was my Bebe, he called me Ugly, it was our thing. We took a pic in front of the Christmas tree, arms wrapped tight around each other. The last thing I said to him was I love you Bebe. Those words are so precious, we lost him in May. I was the eldest of four, I'm just 66 and am the only one left, there's no one left to play "Remember when..." with. Those four words are my remember now. Please take some of the love you have for those you've lost and give it to the ones you haven't. We've all gone from saying when leaving family members "Bye" to "Love you. Bye" no matter how we part. Remember when we watched some English guy named Luke do TS reaction videos and we all cried? Love you. Bye. ❤️

I cried at Marjorie. My mum passed away in April this year and every day is a struggle and just done my first Xmas without her. So just me and my son (13) on Xmas day. X I can hand on heart say that my love for Taylors music is what is getting me through. She has a song for every emotion you may be feeling at the moment. Knew you were thinking of your gran before you even said her name. The longing for our children to know those who formed us is so visceral. I share your longing for my granny and my son too. They are with us forever and in them forever, Luke. Always. I lost my mom suddenly in 2020’to glioblastoma and her linguistic and logical skills were robbed by the tumor for the last few months. However, I was the only one she could communicate with because in life we had done the honest, relentless work of discovering truth in human experience together, individually and as mother and daughter. Language and reason followed her. Yet we could bypass it to “know” and understand what she and I needed to say. When she refused meds from hospitals or her husband, I could coax her to take it. When her brain robbed her of trust or recognition of intent in everyone else, our lifelong bond allowed us to convey respectively what needed to be expressed. I still miss her presence physically. Every minute. But all of her is with me and around and in her grandson who had her for fifteen years. The boys know your grand dad and gran through you. Thanks Taylor and thanks to all who have helped you become who you are and how you walk that life journey with your wife and sons.

Please don't ever ever ever stop showing and feeling emotions. It's what makes us human. If you bottle up those emotions at some point they will come out and often it comes out in anger or rage.
