Rewatching this with you really reminded me that sometimes shows are better when watched after they've finished. Like I loved the show week to week, because one of my fav things is theory crafting and trying to guess what's going on or what'll happen next. I spam your comments with that a lot when watching a series with you lol.

With TBHX it was kind of a grind during Cyan and Loli because we got one episode a week, not a lot to theorycraft, not a lot of action, and it just felt long. Watching with you though, and seeing those arcs all at once, it felt a lot better and more enjoyable. Next time I find a series that feels like it's dragging week to week I'll probably pull this strat and just wait until the season ends to watch.

Lin Ling is probably gonna remain a stand up dude, though his will bent for Ms. J and Moon and the Bossman and....well, let's hope the best for Lin. Little Johnny is good, but he's too impetuous and emotional, so he'll probably kill someone on accident someday. If Smile was all good, it must have come with immense pressure.

This is just speculation, but I wonder if, because X took the hero name of 'X', he took on all of the Trust that people had the in the title of 'X', kind of like how Lin Ling gained the trust value of Nice when he took on the title and form of Nice, and how the new e-soul began taking over for old e-soul. He just appeared out of nowhere, but because he was 'X', he was the strongest.

This is one of the common theories. He's taken on the personification of the title and gained all the trust that title held. Big question with this theory though is HOW. ofc theres like 100 speculative theory's running around atm.

The ED at the very end is beyond EPIC. Talk about a cruel, badass teaser for what's to come!!! It was magnificent seeing X and the other Heroes fighting together. Dragon Biy sitting next to Ahu, LJ chilling. Seeing the city looking apocalyptic. I am a permanent megafan of TBHX forever. Great reaction, Luke. Looking forward to some Trashest Anime next week.

He already finished the show, and I don’t think anyone cares about what I said anyway. Plus, I paid for Patreon, so I can say whatever I want. If you go to the cinema and watch something you don’t like, you have the right to complain. It’s the same thing.

That PV is such a massive spoiler. I'm glad I didn't watch it, because it would have completely ruined the impact of the X scene coming up shortly.

Idk for me its the complete opposite. The Ahu scenes are much better with the hindsight of the PV, it gives important context, and throughout the episode you are wondering if Ahu meeting X will be a plot point or not, since its just a PV at the end of the day and they didnt have to incorporate it into the series itself. You see it as a spoiler only because you know it is in the series, but it isnt true if you saw the PV first.

Well the thing is he had immense power even before he was known as X. He only got the X title, and the X name, only after the tournament where he defeated Queen. He was just an unknown hero in the tournament if i remember correctly. True he probably got more powerful after, but question is how did he sweep the tournament so easily while being unknown and without a name.

Since the original language is Mandarin, they probably used the original audio to translate the subtitles. I went ahead and checked and they do say Zero in the original voice acting for the episode. Then the question is why they would translate "Zero" to "God" in the Japanese dub. aaaah

Omg luke if you actually do watch link click you WILL need tissues that show is the definition of a rollercoaster of emotions and i was full on sobbing and i mean ugly sobbing a few episodes in. The fandom is small but incredibly wholesome, even the reddit people are super nice.

It’s crazy how Luke has many moments like the figuring out he’s X one and wonders why people constantly tell him to go back and pay attention because they think he missed something. And also Lukes mods are probably the worst I’ve ever seen when it comes to “spoilers.” The entire chat could be like, “Hey Luke remember this thing that literally happened 3 episodes ago?” And the mods will delete all the messages and say no spoilers like we aren’t referencing a past event. Or just tell him info he missed but should know because the show literally told him or it’s just info the show will never fully lay out but has given you all the info it will but the chat is just summarizing it in plain English.

It is one of the dumbest theories I’ve ever heard regardless of series because literally nothing in the show supports it and actually actively denies it. And I bet somehow for some dumb reason he’ll be right.

It was so fun as well all started poking you cause you were having a had time figure out it was X, and then you get to see all the times he had popped up throughout the whole series. X was like "Where's Waldo". Then the awesome way that he changed the dimensions and art styles like it was a comic book when he fought. Watching that was like "Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse".

My theory about the ending is that is X's origin story. This season was all about origin stories... except for X. I think that because of his dimensional power, he's from another dimension / timeline. Things went bad in his world, so he came over to this one to try and find allies to help him save his own dimension. If he is from another dimension, and all his trust is from another dimension, that'd explain why he appeared out of no where with a ton of power, despite no one having known of him originally. We've also seen him bring other people into his dimensional manipulation, so he could easily bring the top heroes of this dimension over to his dimension. That would also explain why he has been observing / messing with the heroes that are the focus of this story. He's actively trying to find people he can trust / who have useful powers to power up and bring with him. Though that raises the question of who / what could be so dangerous that X would need help handling it? Aliens? Zero (or a zero level threat)? Other people as strong as X? I'm not sure but I look forward to finding out.

actually, there's no other explanation. You yourself can not explain X's power in anyway. He clearly had this ability BEFORE he gained trust. It was stated during the first time he showed up in the tourney against queen. Nobody knew who he was and he just wiped everyone. In a world based on trust, how would nobody know the guy and how would he be STRONGER than the girl with the most trust in the world? When looking at his PV you could try and make the counter that he might have gained trust with a second personality (such as vtuber theory or something similar). The problem with this is that his abilities themselves make no sense. Being able to change reality from 2d to 3d and teleport through dimensions, to the point where NO ONE on the planet can see you because they are in a different dimension than you, is literally impossible to "imagine" for someone as a power. You think everyone on the planet collectively believe that this vtuber can change dimensions and warp reality? be so for real. Obviously there's more to his powers and the show is damn near telling you that. Besides alien, what else could it be? Him being "created" or made in a lab is more farfetched tbh, as well as him being the creator of it. Even then, how does he have the power to create it? Also, you say "nothing supports it" but the show literally introduces aliens into the story as a major plot point. You think they just introduced aliens to show off johnny's pet and they're gonna just ignore that? They even showed other pods being broken, suggesting there's other aliens out there roaming the earth. Aliens is the only slightly believable theory for X right now, because aliens have been introduced as a major plot point into the story and we've been told many times that aliens exist and even can negate trust/fear abilities. Which btw, x does. That ALSO suggests that x is an alien.

2:13:15 - Well, they can't send anyone from the TOP10 after him 1 day before the tournament and there's strength in numbers, so the Commission was probably expecting a 6 v 1 with agents on the side of heroes as well would maybe be enough.
